Didn't realise he's scored 17 goals this season, impressive. Probably the (non-Shola) striker I like most in the league. Powerful, fast, big, two good feet, scores from distance, intelligent, good in the air. Brilliant all-round, slightly old-school centre forward. Reminds me a little of Gabriel Batistuta, not so much in the way they play, but he's the kind of striker that when he smashes one into the back of the net you almost physically feel like you've been punched in the chest.

How does that work? I thought people could use their wildcard whenever they wanted? I used mine a few months ago. You get one that can be used throughout the season and one only in January.

I'm all for a winter break tbh. As long as it comes right after the christmas fixtures. Trouble is it would mean decreasing the number of teams in the league and less teams = less fixtures = less cash. So i don't see it happening, unless they start the season in July. I'm in favour of keeping the Boxing Day and New Year's Day fixtures for the sake of tradition (and something to fucking watch) and having a week or two either side of these for the players' sake.

No it wasn't, just the media portrayed it as such. Everyone who saw him before he came out said he was gay. The media also massively missed the point on it, he didn't actually say he was gay. In fact, he didn't label himself as anything, and also said that he still likes girls even though he's currently with a man.

Even leagues where they don't play in winter would miss having a break and pre-season etc.
