No chance, he'd do his ACL creeping up on a potential victim.

Didn't Lee Hughes get a contract with a club after he was sentenced for killing someone through drink-driving? Football has no morals so I don't doubt he'll find a club again.
  5. Heralded as 'the next Maradona' on their social media page, even though he's now 30.

Was against his appointment from the get-go. A totally uninspiring choice who had been sacked from 2 championship clubs prior to getting the job here and failed in his other previous jobs. We needed a motivator and a disciplinarian who would whip our players into shape and get them playing to their full potential. I was starting to have a glimmer of hope after reading the pre-season comments regarding his coaching methods which are apparently decent but 2-3 games into pre-season I knew we were in for the exact same sort of season as the previous as absolutely nothing looked like changing. The players were still disinterested and we started to see the fashion of keeping possession for possessions sake while doing fuck all with it, as soon as anything potentially meaningful was attempted, it failed. I'm more adamant than ever that I want to see him go, but at the same time I'm wary as it'd be typical of the regime to just go and appoint someone even worse.

I would maybe like us to think outside of the box and stop going for boring British managers who have no real passion or ability to motivate players. We have some fantastic players in there who just need a foot up the arse to do it regularly and we can start looking forward, get someone in who'll demand a bit of f***ing respect from these c***s. I'd personally like to see us take a punt on Jemez. Do agree Rodgers would definitely keep us up and do OK, but nowt inspiring. He'd also blag our money on shite and Joe Allen.

'Geet' is totally class, when I'm down here speaking to people I know I use it all the time sub-consciously, but I wouldn't use it in work meetings or owt.

All the players we've spunked money on in France and nobody though of Khazri? I kna it's early days but he looks decent, even if you take the spunky free kick goal away. 3 assists and a goal in 2 games, not bad for a player in such a shit team.

  13. You get that from savvywoman.co.uk ?
  14. One has been a proven scorer in Russia and the CL and has just had a rotten 6 month so we've taken a punt with little to no risk. I don't see this in the same light as Ferreyra who was an unknown in comparison and only signed on Coloccini's recommendation to get him out of a war zone!
  15. He didn't show it in his only game of 2016. Although we'll see how he fares against teams that actually play football.

Money saving expert will have that down, Ashley will be loving it. When fit and firing he's the best winger at the club by a mile and should be starting ahead of Townsend on the left flank. Sissoko should be moved to the centre too, it still baffles me why McClaren think he's a winger. Pardew-like. Basing this opinion on Aarons upon what? He looked semi decent in 2 cameo appearances last year and hasn't played. since Semi-decent? You must be kidding, he ripped it up in the previous pre-season and was our best player in the 3-3 against Palace despite being on the pitch for about 15 minutes (scoring and assisting). Against Man City he scored and played fantastic. Had his injury problems, played this pre-season and was our best player again, in fact he was the only bright spot of the entire period, but again unfortunately got injured. I'm basing my opinion based on all the games he has played so far - admittedly there hasn't been many - but if you think he's only been semi-decent I'm sure we've been watching different games.
  17. I completely understand the criticism of him being thick as pigshit and capable of the odd error, but some of the OTT stick he gets proper irks me. Aye he's injury prone, he's totally made of glass but when he's capable of good performances as we've seen at Man U and WBA yesterday and he's a capable stand-in for our defence atm. He gives absolutely everything when he's on the pitch, you see Coloccini turning away from shots but this utter clampet runs headfirst into them, he puts his body on the line constantly without a thought - which is probably another reason he's injured so often, given he probably does it in training too as he's fighting to play - he absolutely loves the club and you never see less than 100% from him every game. Personally I'm happy to see him back for a few weeks where we really need a fighter with some grit at the heart of defence alongside our spineless captain.

  19. Really good performance and delighted he capped it with a goal, but he really, really needs a strike partner.

The substitution thing was a joke, Townsend was knackered after about 70 minutes and kept losing the ball - bringing on Perez was the right move to make at that time too as we're still creating chances but we couldn't finish anything at all. Because of how terrible our finishing is he needs to give Doumbia some minutes and fast if he's the man to put them away for us - really we should be winning by 3-4 goal but in true Newcastle United fashion we just keep on making things unnecessarily difficult for ourselves. McClaren needs to go, he still clearly doesn't know his best team, his best formation or what to do with the players he has. His setup away from home is nothing short of Pardew-like and I'm starting to see more similarities as we go on in regards to his clueless decisions. Our reluctance under Mike Ashley to ever appoint a decent manager will continue to keep us in this position season after season, a lot of the McClaren bashers now have disappeared for another week instead of keeping on because we beat the only team in the league besides Norwich that we are capable of beating right now - it's no wonder Ashley constantly wins when a lot of the fickle knackers who support the club lap up even the slightest positive because under his tenureship it's something we have become grateful for.
