Huge Mbemba fan but that's an absolute crock of shit. He didn't look where the keeper was, it was a wayward pass to the wrong end of the 6 yard box and Elliot if anything deserves credit for not giving away a penalty and getting himself sent off as that would have really fucked us.

Captained Mahrez again. He misses a penalty again. 2 GW's in a row with less than 30 pts now.
-
Kirchoff was disgraceful - that deflection into his own net was courtesy of just a lazy flick out of a boot and as soon as it went in he just wasn't arsed in the slightest. Horrible but great to see at the same time.

He's definitely the focal point of all our attacking play and it's brilliant to have our striker come in deep to get involved with play and give the midfield that extra bit of support. The way he plays is absolutely essential for allowing Wijnaldum to score as many as he has this season for me as Mitro always has 2 or 3 defenders around him, giving Gini that freedom to break out of nowhere and convert the chances he does. It's no surprise Cisse went to shit as soon Pardew implemented 4-2-3-1 because all he was doing was sitting at the top of the pitch, contributing absolutely nothing and simply just waiting to bury whatever solitary chance came his way. Mitrovic on the other hand is now doing all of what I said above in this formation which is great, but all he is missing is the confidence and the ability to put the ball in the back of the net. His penalty against Man U was completely shit (and had De Gea not just went the wrong way it would have been easily saved) and proved how much he's lacking confidence in front of goal at the moment. The thin air kick and the 1-on-1 miss also prove that too. If he can bang in 2 or 3 in a row I reckon it'll be the game changer for him and he'll start putting them in on a regular basis, because the ability is definitely there and he does have a strikers instinct - he just needs to get that confidence.
-
It's a shame he couldn't get the goal to round off a very good performance but he needs to get that confidence sooner rather than later and it doesn't look like happening when he's completely missing the ball on cut-backs and missing 1-on-1's. As it is the way he plays is integral to allowing Wijnaldum to score the goals but that tactic will get sussed out soon I think and we really need him to be putting chances likes the ones he had today in the back of the net.

Yep. Way too good to be in a relegation battle again next season.
-
First half he was great. Second half I think he switched off a little as did the rest of the team, but he was constantly involved and very steady nonetheless. Very good debut.

That quote is genuinely as bad as when Josef Fritzl claimed he was a "really good dad" in court.

Fucking hell man I just can't fucking bear watching this shit, these constant reminders of what we lost. I can't even think of an adequate comparison to the feelings here but what makes it worse is the thick fucking wankers who come out with shit like "no end product"/"never tracks back"/"only performs in 1 in 10 games". The same stupid cunts who believe bringing Pardew back would improve our fortunes, the fickle imbeciles that despite helping drive him out because they became aware of what a fraud he was form their opinion from the media and again happily swallow the utter shite that comes out of his mouth. I fucking detest that cunt to the pit of my soul for taking away the ONLY thing that had ever made NUFC fun and bearable in the Ashley era. I cannot wait for the wheels to fall off next season and for him to be shown up, or better yet the wheels on his car to fall off when he's driving in the slow lane of the M1 about to take a turn off and have a massive fucking B&M bargains HGV smash into the back of his motor and ram him clean into the barrier.

Also, police have said the horse was on RTG yesterday and might have slightly insinuated Shelvey will improve the mags a bit. He got called a mag kernt and was threateningly told to watch his letterbox. Next day, throat slashed.

It's like playing as Dagenham and Redbridge on FM and making an enquiry about Neymar. The audacity of these daft c***s to go to a huge relegation rival and ask if they'd be interested in selling their best player to them.

If any cunt deserves that, it's him.

Who have run through powdered rat poison. And have ant AIDS.

Agreed. As much as I think he's a definite upgrade on what we have I doubt he is our long term solution, so to lead in with 12m and a long-term contract would be suicide.

Voting shoud be closed, killing his family post of the year 2016 with 'arsebaby' a close 2nd.

I hope he buys some expensive wine glasses from M&S and when he puts them in the dishwasher they shatter and block up the dishwasher, resulting in him having to unblock the filter and slicing his fingers repeatedly.
-
OK... so going off our historical injury problems and having Dr Death as head physio... Who plays in place of Coloccini now? If Shelvey or Saivet gets injured who plays CM? If Townsend signs and gets injured who plays on the wing?
-
As much as I'd take him because he's an upgrade on what we have, in our situation he's just a short-term upgrade as far as I'm concerned. Take him on a loan, see how he gets on and make the decision from there. If he's great, get him in permanently, otherwise spend the cash on a proper winger to permanently 'replace' HBA.
-
Fucking hell, you couldn't pay me to wear that monstrosity.
-
ffs. Can't see that catching on somehow.
-
Here we fucking go... I'm not arguing the same point in 2 different threads, like.
-
He's s***. Besides Aarons name a winger in our team who is better than him, and then name an alternative suggestion who would fit under Ashley's budget ?
-
What the f*** are you talking about man? It's not like he made a Darlow style clanger to gift them the game - he had a ridiculously harsh penalty decision given against him that 9/10 referees would have correctly turned down and aye he made a suspect pass for the 2nd, but were the rest of the team busting a gut to get back? Could other defenders have done better? He played quite well and made an error there but to say 'he alone' cost us 2 goals is nothing short of utter bollocks. he had a poor match - no point in denying it! That penalty decision was unfortunately 100% correct! he lost his man and was lost completely. 2nd goal he made a horror pass in a critical position well...right there you have it! As i said...quality player, still young and learning at this level though...nothing wrong with that! 1st point I completely disagree with, the 2nd I agree he made a poor pass but the goal still could have been prevented if the team didn't just give up with running back.

Read the Premier League refereeing thread to learn more. It was never a penalty.
