  1. Yeah I remember Miguel Bassetinho famously quoting "Brazil will be playing 4-4-f***ing-2."
  2. Watched MOTD again last night and I can confirm it was definitely Colback.

    Remy Cabella

A lot of promise with our midfield once they're ticking - even on the bench.
  4. Protecting a 2 goal lead... I know... let's whack on an attacking midfielder who'll play just behind the striker like the young lad, because he's calm and experienced.
  5. If LDJ wasn't cut out to succeed in Germany, I doubt very much he was cut to succeed in England - it may have been in his favour if he wasn't being asked to play CB-CF due to being a 'big lad' though. But come on, this is pretty fucking irrelevant. Apart from sharing the same mam and being Dutch I don't see what else LDJ has in common with SDJ, so pairing them off together is pointless. SDJ has proven over a long career he is a top footballer and in the few appearances he's played for us when starting he's looked like he's more than capable of cutting it. Just give the bloke a bit of time to regain full match sharpness and get back to his best. If he manages to stay injury free for thewhole of this month he should be starting by September and back to his best.
  6. I FINK WE SHUD JUST USE 12 PLAYAZ PUT PIRES IN ND HOPE NO1 NOTICES LOL
  7. I'd go for Sinclair/Alderweireld Silva/Yaya or Walcott/Sterling ?
  8. More or less sacked for doing her job.
  9. Where are the player names on the back of the shirts? I call photoshop.
  10. Hang on, I thought it was Sissoko too and I've never doubted it until now. WTF is going on? Edit: According the Guardian, it was definitely Cisse.
  11. He'll kick a fuss now or in January. Has a decent shot of going to the Euro's. We'll take Rooney, Sturridge & Kane. The other slot is up for grabs. Will be injured, new slot available.
  12. I don't disagree with your main point, but on the 'shots per game' callout for Cisse, you have to remember that Cisse only played around 45 minutes for a lot of the games last season, in an atrocious midfield, under John Carver's atrocious system and as a lone - completely isolated - striker. Don't think you can blame him too much for that. Cisse's conversion rate was fantastic, I'd rather see efficiency in finishing than taking shots for the sake of it and giving away possession.
  13. It's a big if, but if he can put everything behind him and get back the form he showed at Ajax he would improve us immensely.
  14. Peter Sutcliffe had aa more subtle first touch. He has to be he worst player in the squad. Come off it, man. 'if his first touch isn't a shot then he's f***ing useless.' squad player told me the very same and he trained with him every day. Fiver says he's done more for the club than the squad player you spoke too ever will. Tenner says he's talking utter shit.
  15. May be Giggs, but haven't seen anything mentioned of the Doncaster v Bury game. Anyone seen the goals there? Absolutely mental!
  16. Fantastic signing for WBA. He'll be off next season if he does well but they'll make money from it undoubtedly.
  17. http://i.cubeupload.com/4ErutB.png
  18. No he didn't play well, he left Haidara with no cover leaving him to deal with both Cedric and Tadic on his todd resulting in the crosses for both their goals and played negatively against a full-back already on a yellow card. Besides the assist which was fantastic he was our most ineffective player. He's had his chance, he's had far too many - he's a waste of space and nowhere near good enough to be playing for our team.
