  2. There's nothing on livescore about that - they're probably just behind. Livescore my arse.
  3. Do you not think Wenger realises they need to mix it up a bit, and sign a player like Vardy? As mentioned, someone with aggression and edge who annoys defenders, everything Arsenal lack. People have twisted about Wenger's methods for years now and when he finally looks like buying someone who alters it somewhat he's still doing wrong. Aye but will he actually change his methods regardless of who he signs though ? I can't see Wenger even tweaking his philosophies to accommodate 1 player who's only had 1 exceptional season.

    John Carver

Googled and haven't found a single story, just a daft update on his Wiki: John William Carver (born 16 January 1965) is the coach of the Best Team on the world Omonoia Nicosia. John William Carver is an English former footballer and the former manager of Newcastle United. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Carver_(footballer)

    Shola Ameobi

He can and did, for every season of his career. Mitrovic got 9 Premier League goals. Here are Shola's numbers for each Premier League season he played: 2, 0, 5, 7, 2, 9, 3, 0, 4, 6, 2, 1, 2, 0. Shola never started most of a season like Mitrovic did this season. As much as I like Shola, he was playing in a title-chasing team under SBR and a regular under Souness and Roeder yet he still couldn't hit double figures. Mitro has played up front on his own, in a dogshit team and not even started that many games himself yet he's equalled Shola's best ever PL tally in his first season despite his age coming from a new league. The Shola comparison is laughable, apart from the fact they're both cart-horses.

It's a shame really, he looked phenomenal when he first burst on the scene with City. Mind, so did Stephen Ireland.
  7. 1 year zero hour contract haha geddit? It's a Sports Direct related joke cos Mike Ashey only gives out zero hour contracts the stinge hahahaha f*** me sideways

He's currently in hospital with respiratory issues so looks like Rooney's nailed on to start.
  9. Bet the crack's immense between those 2 f***ing nimrods like. "here, Mapou..." "?" "yav dropped ya gay card ahahahahahahahahaha"
  10. In fairness to him although he was never good enough, he is a fan and he loved the club and the region. The amount of charity work he done on behalf of NUFC is extremely commendable too. Still absolute horseshit as a player, though. Glad to see the back of him.

Agree with this, it's just such a huge question mark over his fitness. For me I'd line up with a 4-3-3. Dier obviously starting in the holding role, with Wilshere (who although not great defensively, still puts himself about) and Alli just ahead. Walker is ahead of Clyne who I feel is a bit of a nothing player in comparison - neither defensively or offensively. I'm not sure who I prefer over Rose and Bertrand to start at LB tbh. Hart Rose(?) Smalling Cahill Walker Dier Wilshere Alli Sturridge Kane Vardy
  12. Driving force behind us signing Chucky too.
  13. Nah. But aye though. Nah it's complete bollocks. He's cost us as many points, if not more, than he won with the odd good performance e.g. Bournemouth. Krul had been poor for a while but Elliot still hasn't really been better than him. He's just not good enough at this level, he's not tall enough, doesn't dive well, horrendously slow off his line, positioning not the best. Decent shop stopped as almost all professional footballers are and decent reflexes. He's just not very good. State of this post It's 100% accurate. That's why he was named player of the year and didn't drop any clangers when he was playing for us? Darlow cost us more points in the games he played than Elliot did.

Defoe only has one more season of 10+ goals left in him, then he's fucked and so are they.
  15. Rafas family was the main reason he came here. Don't kid yourself. Aye it was, initially. Fact of the matter is now if he had of just walked away he could have done so with £3m. It's not like he's short of money anyway but it'd be easy to walk away and in fairness he would still walk into a job in the Premier League no bother, it's not like managers aren't getting sacked every season. Rafa is loved by the fans, just like he was at Liverpool - where he thrived on the back of that atmosphere. He has been given a proper project to mould NUFC completely in his own way, as opposed to a coach role where he is the scapegoat for any failures. His family being here is a major factor but it's only integral to him working in England, not at NUFC.
  16. He's still on the pitch. For now.
  17. I live over the Wirral now and haven't given a shite as it's taken the decision away from me, which has never arsed me anyway because I wouldn't have even considered it - but now I wish I was back home so I could get one providing Rafa was re-appointed.
  18. f*** me, this thread has turned out every bit as outstanding as I thought it would. Absolutely beautiful.
  19. I disagree, he's supremely talented in comparison to all of our players and if he wanted to he could have performed far better. His attitude is his main problem which is proven by how fantastic he was at the beginning of the season when he wanted to be here. I would give him a shot under Rafa, but I don't think for one second he will be here at the end of the window, he'll be first off I reckon.
