  1. You can now get 66/1 if anyone still thinks relegation is a possibility: http://www.oddschecker.com/football/english/premier-league/relegation
  2. They've only won 1 home game all season and haven't been playing too well. Would probably take a draw, but think we can win it if we get at them.
  3. Looked a soft penalty to me in real time but the replay showed it was a good decision.
  4. Probably tempting fate, but I'm beginning to suspect that Soldado may be shite.
  5. I think he's a tidy little player, but if we're going to be playing mostly 4-4-2 I just can't see where there's a place for him.

    Alan Pardew

That sums it up perfectly for me - think he maybe got carried away with the 5th place finish and Manager of the Year awards and thought he was the next Mourinho, this year has gone back to what he knows best, which isn't always pretty but can certainly be effective.

    Hatem Ben Arfa

I saw Ben Arfa standing waiting to come on and he had his shirt on, I could clearly see his number 10 so I have no idea why he was pulled back for Cisse to come on. I think it was going to be a double sub but by the time there was a break in play and Cisse got on the stoppage time was up, think they just decided not to bother fannying about any more.
  8. I thought we were comfortably the better team overall - WBA had a decent 10 minutes just after half time but aside from that we were pretty well in control. Their goal was their only shot on target.
  9. Have to say I think Joey is right, and that what Giggs did was worse than any of his transgressions. Probably the worst thing Joey did was that beating to the lad outside McDonalds, and I don't know about anyone else but I would far, far rather take a few drunken slaps than have my brother betray me in about the worst way imaginable over a prolonged period.

    Shola Ameobi

I like that he's getting to play a part in what will likely be his last season here - just need a penalty in the home derby to seal the legend.
  11. I'm a big fan of Tiote - love watching him dominate the midfield like he did today.

    Alan Pardew

You can now get 66/1 on him being the next manager sacked - crazy turnaround from being favourite just a few weeks ago.
  13. That's 3 goals in the last 4 games - not bad for a winger.
  14. I thought he was MOTM today too - just completely makes us tick, and his interplay with Tiote is lovely to watch.
  15. Surprised Berahino and Yacob aren't starting for them. Teams look quite well matched, should be a good game.
  16. Waited for the 3 goal lead this time I see - sensible.
  17. Colo starting? f*** off Pardew. Never ever thought I'd see this posted on here. Aye, especially when Williamson is in the team as well - we're a fickle bunch!

Blends perfectly with his concealed skills
  19. 10 million Euros, so about 8 million quid.
  20. He wasn't match fit when he first arrived as he had been in the middle of the Russian mid-season break then he got injured - only played 10 games for them in the end.
  21. Seems highly unlikely given his reported wages, but what the hell: http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/445475/West-Ham-and-Newcastle-keen-to-bring-homesick-Christopher-Samba-back-to-England
  22. Mapou was great against Norwich. If anything I would leave Debuchy on the bench to teach the others if they gave away daft bookings they will have wait for their chance. I missed the Norwich game, was MYM that good at right back? As in, better than Debuchy?

    Alan Pardew

Bit of praise for Pardew on F365: http://www.football365.com/f365-says/9043051/Forget-The-Smugness-And-Credit-Pardew Spoiled a bit by some of the usual tired stereotypes, but not a bad article.
  24. It's a tricky one - personally think he should stick with MYM too but I'm not exactly going to be gutted if Colo starts.
