Been very unimpressed with him last few weeks to be honest. No heart for the battle and doesn't seem to give a shit. Combine that with the fact he's also playing awful. He's blatantly off in the summer and he's performing like it.

Think Wigan will get something at WBA. They are playing better than us and we managed a point.

Ditto. Always feels compelled to buy our shirts. -
We don't have a win in us man.

That is absolutely fucking class. Spot on aswell.

He'd come here defiantly. It's them two idiots though, they have zero ambition to make such a move and don't like anyone who speaks out of line, something Benitez is canny good at. It would an absolute dream appointment but I simply can't see it.

aye. stuck out for me that. A very damaging sign.

Disagree.... has to start Ben Arfa imo
-
He hasnt like. I'm not blindly defending him here but he's been fine.

Defo. Crazy for the club not to consider going for Benitez

I was ridiculed for bringing that up. Pardew was blameless in that situation apparently. Tbf most people at the time thought it was shitty how these two were forced on him and he was made to play them and yea Tevez is a premadonna but in hindsight it all sounds very familiar. A leopard doesn't change it's spots and Pardew is making the same mistakes again. It's clear as day reading that, the players seem to like him on a personal level and that has bought him time, but his match day decisions, line ups, tactics and substitutions are of a man way out of his depth. This will be his last job after this, punditry from here on out. This might sound odd but that's part of the problem for me - that softness from the players is transcending onto the field. They don't even look angry when they're getting pummelled at home.

Was talking last night about this and I honestly think that as a club, Benitez would defiantly consider us - it's the boardroom aspect of things would put him off.

It's a spiralling nightmare. I don't have some seething hatred for Pardew, he's just monumentally crap at his job and he shouldn't be managing Newcastle. His weaknesses have been fully exposed and he's taking a squad full of promise into the championship. I'm utterly convinced we will go down after what i'v seen. Not one iota of fight coming from anyone at the club, whereas every other club around us is scrapping like mad.

Would absolutely love Benitez to manage us, even if the chances are remarkably low.
-
agreed. the most alarming thing for me is that I honestly don't think he'll be sacked. Even if we get relegated.
-
just give the thing to Debuchy.
-
Aye with the upmost respect to James Perch it would say it all if a squad rotation player got player of the year. Santon had a good start to the season but his form was very inconsistent after christmas.
-
Good shout - never lets the team down.
-
I would probs go Krul tbh or failing that Cisse. Aint scored tons but the ones he has notched have been key.

It's worth going over to .com and reading the WBA match report. Superbly written in regards to the slack the fans have cut Pardew.
-
With Gotze scoring the winner v Bayern. That would be interesting.
-
Commendable without doubt. Hope it rubs of on his team-mates on saturday and not least his twatting manager.

It's an entertaining league and one which I enjoy to watch - this doesn't really change that. It's give Bayern utter domination though. Akin to Man Utd getting Aguero or something similar.
