So in relation to HBA's statement about the club "showing ambition" going forward, do you think we've done a good job in this window? Personally I think this window has been incredible for us, but what will HBA make of it? Is he likely to be pleased with our additions? It's hard to imagine that our French players wouldn't have had some influence (in general terms) when other players are being discussed. Thoughts?

Did indeed, took a couple for posterity. I collect pretty much anything to do with Northern Ireland football so they were a must have.

Too young to have seen him play but his status here is beyond question. My Dad seen him play for Northern Ireland and I know loads of people who did and they all say he was nothing short of remarkable. Literally nothing was beyond him, could go round players for shits and giggles all day long. So many stories I wouldn't even know where to start. Never fulfilled his potential which is the saddest part for me, pissed it all way to the demon drink. Was at his funeral which was a really emotional day, never seen crowds like it, an incredible send off for one of the world most talented footballers.

I guess in some respects it does look like panic buying, insofar as we've gone out and napalmed the window, leaving everyone in our wake. The fact we're in free fall, I can totally see how "outsiders" could take that view. It probably IS panic buying to some degree, we literally CANNOT go down, with the TV money around the corner. This will be forefront in MA's mind, no question. It's a case of speculating to accumulate. It just happens to be that, we're very well structured in the scouting/monitoring department, with 8 or 10 players been tapped up (in the nicest possible way) as any given moment. Further than that, we've done our homework on contracts etc so know the optimum time to strike, to cause maximum damage and get the best deal for ourselves. We've got our shit well and truly together, where other clubs haven't done any long term planning at all. We're ahead of the curve and it's nice to see.
