  1. Hope she didn't accept the invite to the Saudi Consulate hope she didn't accept the invite to Sean's house for a chat with a fans representative
  2. Sean

    Transfer rumours

If he wants to realise any potential he might have then he would be making the right choice going to Celtic rather than here.
  3. Great little ball from Kimmich for that goal.
  4. Wow, who would have guessed it Still think it is criminal this got reported on as if it was real.
  5. I can see your point about previous takeovers of other clubs. But if the Chairman of PIF was never prepared to go through the tests, it pretty much had zero chance from the start. He was always going to fall under the definition of "having significant control" surely? He could have created another company with legal separation possibly, but it doesn't seem they've tried this at all? And they couldn't fail MBS because they didn't test him. Whether they would have failed him (and whether this would be to do with Qatari influence) didn't come into play.
  6. I think I've missed something that's making a number of people say this sort of thing. We've had a withdrawal statement from PIF and a statement from the PL stating that the test is not an ongoing process. Why do people think there's still a chance of the deal happening? Not a dig at you; as I say, a number of people are saying the same thing. This takeover is dead. Unless Staveley can find different backers (not gonna be a quick thing anyway) then Ashley's here long term. She actually found backers who were not prepared to undergo the PL tests. That's quite some doing tbh. Did she even ask them if they were prepared to go through the owners and directors test? You'd think that would have came up fairly quickly no? Lets hope she asks the next lot this question. They cannot have ever expected this to be waved through surely?
  7. "No red flags" was Staveley's info given to Caulkin - not some fact. Yes and the questions re piracy were quoted by numerous journalists, yet the PL implied that this hadn’t even been looked at yet, and would only have been considered once who owned club was decided. You need to get over your absolute hated of Staveley makes you like a grade A cnut. Love the personal abuse from the usual suspects. For the hundredth time, doubting somebody does not equate to hatred. But you knew that anyway I'd hope.
  8. The PL made a decision on who would have an influence on the club though (including the chairman of PIF). PIF disputed that, but a decision had been made. That's my understanding at least. Then PIF walked away. Could NUST ask hard questions of the consortium as well as the PL? That is needed at this stage after the way things have fallen apart.
  9. Think you are mixing up the NUST with the Fans Liaison Committee. In fact I think quite a few on here have I don’t think I have, after Rafa resigned this debate was had, and the trust raised all the reasons they should continue to engage with the club. They prioritised it over getting Ashley out. As I said, doesn’t matter now. This isn't really true and shows a significant lack of understanding of what the trust is. I mean, all I have to go on is what was said and debated at the time. That’s my understanding of what the view was... that is was important to keep engaged with the club for non-Ashley out reasons like ticketing etc. And that it wasn’t the trust’s place to lead a protest movement. Like i said though, no point debating it again now. If that’s the wrong take, fair enough. This was also my understanding, and was the reason I hadn't joined the group. If that's the wrong view, fair enough.
  10. Why did Staveley ask fans to complain about the PL's unfair decision if PIF have just walked away? It doesn't make any sense. Then again not much about this whole farce does.
  11. Their entire online persona was created in the last 2 months and almost all of it was just written by themselves. They claim to have 10,000 private jets. I work in aviation all around the world - they don't, I've never heard of them. The tweet claiming all these jets used shutterstock imagery rather than one of their supposed 10,000 private planes, seems they like I couldn't even find 1 of them. The woman looks like she did at some point meet Obama at some function or other, but they've taken legitimate photos of her and him and photoshopped others in and into different locations. It just screams "dodgy as fuck" and "publicity stunt". Clearly just a bunch of penniless chancers and by the looks of what they've done so far, borderline fraudsters. Or at the very least, fantacists. Let people believe in the fraudsters man, stop being so negative.
  12. The scariest thing has to be the local (and national possibly, haven't checked) media actually reported as if this is a real bid. Absolutely fucking stealing a living.
  13. What has being a woman got to do with my posts this morning? Not the sharpest are you. I'm actually creased at you sat raging at your computer writing a 'meltdown post' for something that you've perceived in your head. Seek help lad.
  14. So many angry little men on here I'd suggest Staveley knew full well this would never complete, as she managed to find an owner who wouldn't submit himself for PL checks ffs. It had zero chance from the start under those circumstances.
  15. And time to learn the lessons from this - don't believe somebody just because they claim to be buying NUFC and because we all want them to be telling the truth. Staveley's done a fucking number on us here like. Again.
  16. this shit is really starting to bother me like i refuse to believe the PL, who have a brand to promote and manage, would be sitting there not wanting more competition and better teams/players in the division rather than have more absolute non entities like us stinking the place up not having it, it's fucking embarrassing as was that wor flags thing fwiw This. It's tin foil hat stuff (encouraged by Staveley with no evidence).
