Bruce's team breaking long-ball related records? What a surprise. It's embarrassing that he's even here. The fact he can be said to be our only goal threat is hilarious really.

Didn’t say I was happy keeping him I’m certainly not. However in my opinion rightly or wrongly is staying in the premiership and hopefully there will be someone who meets his price. If anyone is, it will be before the Summer I would think (as long as they stay up), as the kit supplier and kit sponsorship is up for grabs and straight away increased revenue available. In the Championship Ashley won’t change the price much and nobody is going to take a risk on those terms. The boycott was having an effect as it was being discussed in the media. He knew what to do though give free tickets away, the muppets lap it up and he’s praised in the media. You must surely have worked out by now that his price will never be met as the club isn't, and never has been, for sale. Makes no difference as I couldn’t argue with you anyway without putting someone in the s***. So I just don’t go into or comment on what is or what is not happening with takeover talk now after the summer’s carry on. He certainly won’t be selling up in the Championship though that’s for sure. Honestly, I don't care to know what information you or your ITK contact has regarding the sale of the club, but I think you are both (or all if you have multiple contacts) naive if you think that any attempts to sell the club are genuine (quite likely genuine on the part of the buyers i'd say). Personally, I don't. I can't explain why Ashley goes through the pretence of looking like he's selling but I don't believe that any of them were genuine attempts to sell. I think he could have easily sold it by now if he genuinely wanted to. I think Ashley is a pathological liar and I don't believe anything that comes out of his or the clubs mouth. Good for you hope you feel better now The fact you were so sure we were getting taken over the whole summer would lead many to believe you have a rather low IQ. My qualifications, house, car, incoming earnings suggest totally different Put it this way, I put money on they're a lot better than what you have

Yep let's go to division 3 , but we will have our club back. Then what? We will build and be great again? Based on what? Sunderland ?Wolves? Theres no guarantee of anything , we may go out of business. I want rid of him as much as anyone but to me the only way is to be in the PL and one day it may happen. I desperately miss going to the match, I'd been doing it for over 40 years so dont patronise me over NUFC , that matchday feeling is hard to just give up, I've seen good and bad but I made my decision on Ashley and wont change , its fucking hard to not go and fuck me I miss it but I will not ever want us beaten and relegated just to feel it may make Ashley go.I get it may be a way to get him out but at what cost? I've given up on winning anything, I sat in the darwen end at Blackburn gutted when they beat us , that was our chance, gone. I'm stopping with the sniping. You know my position , fuck Ashley, I wont slag the team off or fans but the manager will get pelters if he drags us down. Bruce is nowhere near Rafa but hes here so we plod on.Job done. I'd rather be in Division 3 (as you put it) and have our club back than be in the PL and owned by a parasite. You might prefer Ashley and the PL but I'd gladly take a club striving to be the best that it can be, under whatever circumstances. We will never build and be great again under this cunt, and he is not for selling whilst the PL money/exposure remains.

I've stopped going to the games. I'm not spending any money on the club at all. I want Ashley out but I can't wish we lose. To me that is a fair position. I'm not just supporting the team like nothing has happened. I'll be honest, that line of thinking is equally as confusing to me. As a win for the team is a win for Mike Ashley, I can't understand the logic. I can't separate NUFC from Mike Ashley now so wishing bad results on the team is a by product of wishing ill fortune on Ashley. Then why do you still post here? What O-N said. But you want the team to lose every game. What's the point in investing all that time watching the games and then posting on a messageboard about a team you want to lose? Makes zero sense. Because it's my team. Where else am i going to vent with people with a common interest? If this was another club's board, I think your question would be very valid. FWIW i don't invest any time in watching us any more. But it's not your team anymore. You've confirmed that. Why would you post on a message board about a team you don't watch? Makes less than no sense. I don't know how old you are but if you are lucky, you'll have seen how big we can get and how good it can be to support this club. I'm prepared to see the club sink to any depth if it means we have a chance of trying to get back to that level again. I'm 34, previously been a season ticket holder for many years. Been all over Europe supporting the Toon, been to loads of away games. I understand we need Ashley out. I get it. I'm doing what I can control. After Rafa left, I said I wouldn't go to any matches or spend any money until Ashley is gone. That's what I am doing. I just can't want us to lose. We've been relegated twice, and came straight back up. If it happened a third time, I think we would come straight back up again. The pressure on Ashley, on his businesses etc that makes perfect sense to me. Wishing Bruce has a heart attack, and constantly calling him a fat cunt - doesn't make sense to me. Well others can and do want Ashleys club to lose. How about trying to empathise with them? Or just deal with it ffs.

I said before a ball was kicked this season that Bruce's quotes would equal Pardew's given enough time. He's well on course so far.

Joke isn't it.

We play a revitalised Everton next, then Leicester, Wolves, Chelsea, Everton again before we ply Norwich and then Arsenal. We could very much have a John Carver like 2nd half of the season. Can anyone see Brice being able to turn it around after those fixtures? Every game is tough , every single one, his brief is 40 points, same as Rafa, same as any cunt below top 10 , realise and deal with that and life might not seem to be so bad.Keep dreaming of CL football and life will be shite. So true, lower your expectations to Ashley's desired ceiling (surviving) and I'm sure things aren't so bad. But why the fuck should we do that?
-
This. It was fucking embarrassing. That not even mentioning Carroll trying to dive and cheat most of the game. Grim.
-
How fucking amateur of the players to listen to the crowd cheering them to all charge randomly forward.
-
It's clear Ashley's done a magnificent job of dividing and conquering our fanbase. So many different opinions and camps that literally nobody has time to focus anything on him (myself included in that). Then theres a full stadium, with not even so much as a chant aimed at him. Hats off to the fat cunt for that one.
-
Defend the corner and don't cry about it. They should have had a penalty but didn't get it.
-
Such a prick. Stop posting in the match threads if you want us to lose. It's sad as fuck. Nah, fair game. I don’t want us to lose but can understand people wanting it to crash and burn. Posting on the match threads about wanting us to get tanked is fucking embarrassing. So is trying to control what other people post.
-
Yeah was a clear penalty tbh. Don't know what Fernandez is thinking, no need at all.
-
Quite a sizeable proportion of our fans seem to be unaware of how poor the performances have been. Not getting beat = can't criticise Bruce. Hell, losing 4-1 = can't criticise Bruce even
-
Ashley objective achieved. And an 8 year contract for Bruce no doubt. What a time to be a fan.
-
You mean Rafa's system?
-
Can't praise him when we've won either by that logic, as the opposition missed chances etc. Bruce is shit, always has been, always will be. A bit of luck and/or a good spell will not change that.

Which Longstaff? Be more specific man

The tweak in the formation and what it could mean going forward is really interesting I think. Should make for better play from the team. Missing the point as it's not the style of play, it's just Ashley. Oh right. Man ... you may as well switch off completely then. That's going to be a long road still before it comes to an end. Could well also be a long road until Bruce comes to an end by that token though...we live in hope and all that. True. At this point I just wanted to see Bruce at least try some things to improve the team going forward. I like what he's done today a lot. Think Almiron and Joelinton will look a lot better in their respective positions. I like that we can now use Muto and Gayle more as strikers alongside Carroll or Joelinton. Saint-Maximin can also now play upfront with more freedom when he comes back in. Fair enough, I can see your reasoning. I'm pretty much out at this point, think I'll try to stop posting as it's more out of habit than anything. Who knows, I might find some enthusiasm for the club again. I do still like Almiron.
