  1. Terry's not the best example eh? Didn't he cuckold a teammate?
  2. God damn it is nice to read that.

  4. Really hoping he starts on tuesday. Want to see him and Cabaye get acquainted as soon as possible. Between Cabs' passing ability and Sissoko's movement I think we'll be a real scoring threat from midfield. Visions of Cabaye setting Sissoko free and then Sissoko laying it back for Cabs to finish from the top of the box...
  5. Aye, we've even made it onto American ESPN with this. Normally they only cover manc united and barca.
  6. I just hope we make a hard charge in Europa now that we have some depth. We can still win something goddamnit!
  7. Completely agree with this, and as much as many of us on here think that this buying spree in january is a result of our p*ss poor league position and fear of relegation, I think we were also waiting to catch a lot of these guys with six months left on their contract. Wasn't Sissoko rated at 8-10 million not too long ago? We're getting him cheap because his club would rather have 2-3m than nothing at all. I think this might be half panic-buying half master-plan at the end of the day.
  8. Now that we have some real fullbacks we could get a mean midfield diamond going too. Tiote Sissoko Anita Cabaye
  9. Was just doing that myself. Fighting a massive urge to post a bunch of lineups too. Sissoko and Cabaye seems like a match made in heaven for central midfield.
  10. Looks canny on youtube. Good pace good dribbling good passing can score a goal. The video I was watching didn't show much defensive work though so I dunno how "box to box" he is. But hey after watching four minutes of heavily edited footage, he looks fucking mint.
  11. lol that motherfucker looks COLD Hope these frenchies are ready for the northern winter
  12. Aye, seems that way to me. And we are one step ahead of Wenger the whole way it looks like, all these transfer articles seem to mention that Wenger was in touch but didnt have his bid together in time.
  13. Hold up the shirt already, Moussa. My refresh key is getting worn out.
  14. So absurd that they would even try that.
  15. Not worried about it. If anything I see it as a positive.
  16. The silver lining of his exit is that we won't have to start Jonas any more right?
  17. If they haven't booked a presser, they bloody well should. And bring in Sissoko via helicopter already too.
  18. Only at fucking Newcastle... This has to be one of our lowest/weirdest points since Dyer and Bowyer's mid-game fistfight doesn't it? All the rumors and speculation are just getting out of hand. The only hard evidence we have is Pardew's admission a few weeks back that they had a fight. Got to think this all goes back to that incident. I get the feeling that, now that his father's ridiculous bid has failed, Colo feels to proud or insulted to back down from his position. Like, somewhere along the line during this ludicrous "negotiation" things got personal or were handled poorly (from Colo's pov) so that the bridge here was burned whether he could make the move to SL or not. Maybe someone at the club called his dad a silly southern cuntstring whorebait motherfucker during negotiations. I guess for me the bottom line is if he retires he is walking away from a shitload of money, not to mention his identity as a footballer, and people only do things THAT crazy when there is some kind of emotional involvement. Can't help feeling that he feels insulted/humiliated/wronged somehow during this process if he is willing to just quit entirely. Or maybe he doesn't want to learn French. OR, and this is perhaps the most likely scenario -- the articles about him retiring are complete bullshit because they know us Newcastle fans will read/believe anything at this point.
  19. love how the dog's expression changes before the slap, too funny
