I know this is gonna go against the popular sentiment of the board, but I thought we looked waaaaay better in the last game when we switched to 4-4-2. I know, I know. Everyone wants 4-3-3, but they didnt look like they had any fucking idea how to do it last time out, I feel like people are plugging 4-3-3 just because they haven't seen us be terrible in it as much. I'd like to see Anita and Tiote in the middle, shit maybe even Bigi in for Tiote as that fool has been driving me CRAZY, and Marv on the left with HBA on the right. Just think, we'd actually be dangerous on both sides then, without Jonas wasting possession 15 times a game on the left flank. Santon and Marv on one side and HBA on the other side with the two african fellows up top, seems like something could happen maybe. Or if you really want 4-3-3, put Cisse on the fucking bench. Marv, Ba and HBA as the front three.

well, it's fair enough to put pressure on Pardew at this point, the team has been underachieving pretty blatantly. With that said, I have no desire to go back to the "new manager every 6 months" system that got us relegated before.

Really disappointed to see that Lazy Altidore is back in the squad already. Especially when they don't bother to call up the guy who scored 28 goals in 34 games this year. Ridiculous.

Premier League doesn't need playoffs, that's why we have League Cup, FA cup, Europa League, Champions League, Bum-Tiddler's Cup, Wankmasters League and so on. Plenty of knock-out football to go around. The purest way to decide the best team in the league is over a full season playing the same teams the same number of times.

He did seem kinda selfish, trying to force a shot instead of passing the ball, but I don't think that's entirely a bad thing. Just shows he's hungry to make the team imo, and once he starts getting more playing time he won't feel the pressure to make his mark as much and his decision making will improve.

So we're all calling him Sameobi right? Want to see more of this kid on the pitch! Not sure he's ready for an EPL start but he could be great as a super-sub to attack weary defenders with his ridiculous pace. Hell even an Ameobi Double-shot around the 70th minute wouldn't be a bad idea to turn the tide of a close game.

Pardew did it with Perch and Willamson and also Best in the time he was here. So, why not Obertan in the end? Good call. I remember when we were all calling for Perch's head on a plate, now we can't do without him.

Gotta say this game has turned me around on Obertan a bit, even before the goal he looked really good running at the defense in the first half. Maybe the lad has turned a corner.
