Metalist game just showed how much we need his pace, dribbling ability and non-retarded attacks... It's so frustrating watching Cisse try to lead the line when he can't hold the ball, run with the ball, or even get a decent first touch. I like Cisse but the lad is a finisher only and without well rounded players like Gouffran and Ben Arfa around him he is halfway useless.

We do this all the fucking time too. Basically whenever we get a corner or a throw-in, it's possession to the other team. We'd be better off putting it into touch ourselves and trying to steal the ball off their throw-ins...

This is 100% down to the bad offsides calls if you ask me. I'd have no problems with the team if we were sitting on a 2-0 victory right now. Sure there were things that could have been better but that's the case with any team in any game. Don't worry though lads, twenty years from now we can look forward to justice being served in the next match fixing probe.

The problem is the Chelsea game gave us the foolish idea that our team should be able to play football, now our standards are all out of whack. Also can we get someone else to take corners? It boggles my mind how Cabaye can be so good on free kicks and so weak on corners.

The whole team is... You can tell it really took the wind out of our sails.
-
Or if he scores from outside the box, "Gay drives in a low one outside the box" It was killing me when FC Young Boys were playing a while back. Commentator keeps going "Young Boys spreading it out wide..."
-
The offsides call was brutal on the "goal".... Cisse spends so much time offside that when it's close the linesmen just assume he's off.
-
Yeah nobody here gives enough of a shit about soccer to steal nets
-
If Ben Arfa is the #10 I can see Sissoko working just fine alongside Cabaye instead of Perch/Tiote. Think Moussa would be wasted on the wing though.

Isn't the most common type of driver fraud lying about who was driving during speeding offences etc? I don't know UK law at all but this is what came to my mind, didn't he recently have a case where he claimed he wasn't the one driving?

This fucking club man
-
same with man united
-
Not to mention shevchenko, kaka, pirlo... that was a nasty team in general
-
Colo's captaincy has to play into that eh? Not that I'd mind seeing Cabaye take the armband

Hey Mexico are playing so at least I'll get to watch it on tv

What about the first? Silly but that stuff happens all the time. The second was a real let down though. The first goal conceded belongs to Perch. Bale should never have gotten away with that bullshit kick. Even if Perch had stood on his toes he'd have blocked that shot. Instead it goes straight over his head and he turns to watch it, disgusting on the replay. Also for Colo's part it's the kind of foul you see day in and day out and that's why we form a f***ing wall in the first place. Second goal is down to Colo and Taylor both, imo, Colo blew it to begin with but its no good when you have a situation where it's 100% certain that a centerback can't track back and at least pressure a forward who's got behind. Colo left Taylor out to dry, but god damn a CB with a shred of pace could have at least made Bale sweat a bit on the shot. Overall I'd like to see us phase Colo and Taylor both out. Both players are nearing the end of their peak abililities and while I have a lot of love for both players and they have both been great servants for the club, it is time to start looking toward replacements. Hopefully Mbiwa is the business and we can blood him in and bring in another hungry young CB behind him in the next year or two. Taylor turned 27 about 3 weeks ago and is finally showing himself to be a good defender. Can we fit him with rocket boots?

Aye they are on to him and he has to make the opposition at least respect the idea that he will go down the touchline. Even if he just goes down to the corner flag and then passes back to someone else with his right foot... it's a s*** attack but at least it will mean that next time he moves to the corner of the box they won't be 100% positive that he is going to cut in. You have to create some doubt in your opponents mind even if it means using your less effective techniques... editors note:: I fully rate the player and I hope we keep him long term, he's the sort of fellow who I am optimistic will actually make the sort of improvements that are asked of him

I nearly got into a fight with Carlos Cuellar in a Birmingham nightclub after the 1-1 last season at Villa Park. He was a right f***ing arsehole. ...and that's why I'm on this forum. I have to be part of the culture.
-
Aye he's like the result if you crossed Jonas with a footballer
-
Looked like the initial shot was on frame anyway
-
Hopefully its in the 94th minute then.....

Should get Colo to sign his mask
