Bournemouth looked much more dangerous going forward. Game was crying out for a 'Maddison' today
-
Mitro greedy there - should have passed
-
How Steven Taylor ever got to play PL football I'll never know - wouldn't have done for any other club

That didn't take long - 1 game I watched a lot of the game and I thought they played ok.

Haaland is just ridiculous

Sesko looks a tidy player

Really feel for him after watching that - Welcome to the club Karius we're all routing for you. If anyone can get him back to the player he was it's Eddie.

All because he came on against Tranmere

Never a foul- football is a contact sport

VAR at it again in Man U game. It's like they look for an excuse not to give a goal.

Sky sports starting discussing the issue to then break short to get a pointless F1 update.

tbf I thought Miggy did well yesterday - his biggest achilles heel is his finishing. Just lacks composure but I thought he was our best player until he was taken off. That being said I would definitely start Elliot over Fraser, you cannot know his work rate but he lacks end product. Elliot just looks so much more composed on the ball and more likely to make things happen. I know Eddie likes to bed players in but he looks ready now to start imo.

The issue is 'how' they use it as well as 'who' is operating in. For a start it is meant to be used when there has been a 'clear and obvious error' but they seem to check everything forensically. If it's not obvious straight away it is NOT a clear and obvious error. It then goes down to 'opinion' and that's not it's purposes. In those circumtances the on field decision should stand. Secondly those running VAR should NOT be ex-referee's - it is impossible to take bias out of their equation. They all work together so it will affect decision making. They need to be people specifically trained in the role, much like Referees are trained in theirs but keeping the two seperate. Those running VAR have to be totally impartial.

I don't think it was the lack of trying in the Summer - though I also don't think the club expected to be shunned as much in the loan market. Yes it will be harder to bring in the right players in Jan but I think we've proved that it can be done.
