Does he have 2 arms and 2 legs?
-
1. He's past his best and he was never as good as hyped anyway which is why he's still at Fulham 2. He's well beyond the age Ashley will even begin to consider for a new signing. Dunno if that's true. There's been a good bit of interest in him over the years. Seems like he's just been rather content to stay at Fulham. Wouldn't start for us anyway. Can't do much better than Hangeland as a third choice CB.

Aye and been f*cking awful every time, not to mention he's probably the best midfielder England has anyway. He isn't, like. Carrick is the best holding midfielder certainly. Overall? Debatable.

2014/15 NUFC Kits - New third kit revealed on page 143

Only players I'm confident of having around for their full careers are Saylor and Shola. Otherwise, could always go for a cult-hero kit (Perch, Raylor). -
Like he's about to deliver a neck-snap there

So clean, so pure. -
Well, we do have Omar Gonzalez, Jose Torres, Herc Gomez, Joe Corona, Edgar Castillo, Juan Agudelo.. Plus the U-20 squad was comprised almost entirely of Mexican-Americans. Our greatest hopes lie south of the border.

I'd like to see us throw money into a cricket program just to piss off the Brits. We'd call the game "shit baseball", show up with our Capo Robby's, and have outrageous team names.
-
On the plus side, 30 years from now we should be able to field a damn fine cricket team from all the half Afghan and Pakistani kids.

This I found particularly troubling: You do get the sense that the German-Americans are really just hired guns. With the exception of maybe Johnson, I don't think any of them had a chance of ever playing for Germany and chose the U.S. because they wanted international football. I dunno, I'd rather have less-talented players on the national team who really want to be there and give 110% every time. Boyd does seem to be the exception though, everything I've heard suggests he loves to play for us. Which is good, because I think he's got loads of potential. I expect him to be starting for a team in the Bundesliga in a year or two. Fuck that. What was WW2 for if not for the USMNT? Still waiting to reap the benefits from that Marine base in Okinawa. Not sure why we don't have the greatest Japanese-American baseball players.

They all did I believe. But every half-decent German plays for the German youth sides.
-
He can't make the starting XI in one of the worst sides in Liga Adelante. That's really bad. He's an old man with a lot of mileage. Classic American defender: hard-working, great through the air, not very technically proficient. I don't think he's cut out for nature of the Spanish game, even in the second division. Probably should've come back to MLS.

I still believe Bocanegra should've started against Honduras and been called-up for this round. Don't really care that he's not playing regularly. He's the one guy on defense that's been through all of this countless times before. Not someone to crack against Costa Rica or at the Azteca. Cool as a cucumber.

Because I'm freaking out right now Things are dire man.

Fuck you Deuce, idiot. This is what we really should do, but won't of course: Boyd Gomez Johnson Zusi Bradley Edu Morrow Beltran Gonzalez Cameron Guzan

On top of their answers, I'd also like to add that I think it's because we don't feel like we need to stick with the big name stars (because we don't have many). There is no big uproar if Dempsey isn't included like there would be if Gerrard or Lampard weren't included. This is also true. Dempsey, imo, shouldn't start against Costa Rica, as he's not been getting regular minutes for Spurs recently and was rusty against Fulham (been injured).
-
Brad Davis added to the roster. Though he's been underwhelming for the national team in the past, I still wouldn't mind giving him a trot out against Costa Rica.
-
Just noticed he doesn't have a photo on his wiki page. One of you internet wizards should amend that.

Dave Whealan had intent to injure McManaman, but Haidara has previous so Gai Assulin is condoning it.

What the fuck are we arguing about in here?

Guarantee it won't be nearly as nice as that, unfortunately.
