It isn't. Games not involving the likes of Bayern, Dortmund and one of Leverkusen/Schalke/Hamburg/Bremen (who ever of them has 'their season') are a) totally one-sided or b) totally boring. Simply because there's a gap between the cream and the middling teams doesn't mean the middling teams don't have quality. Look at how well German teams fare in Europe each year. The likes of Hannover, Monchengladbach, Stuttgart would clean-out West Brom, Fulham, (us) with ease. It is a top-quality league overall. Highly fan accessible and extraordinarily well managed. As the Germans do.

Really good move for both sides. Bundesliga doesn't get enough credit, imo. Top-class league with excellent standard of football.

What do you base that on? Is it because everyone who has ever worked for Barcelona is a saint and would never do anything for money, only for the love of the beautiful game? That's a pretty silly stick to beat us with. It's not like our players are on zero wages. I have to agree with Sem though. RA has long coveted Pep and surely would pay more to get him than almost any other club. Pep seems the type to want to succeed where so many have "failed" as well. And at Chelsea, he'd have the closest approximation to the team he had at Barca, in terms of technical ability of his players.

QPR really are spending unsustainable amounts of money on rather shit players. Fernandes has money yes, but he's no oil sheikh either. Obviously it's unlikely QPR find themselves in the exact same situation as Pompey, but in terms of both clubs being small, spending big, flirting with relegation, and having Redknapp as manager, it's understandable to draw the comparison.

A good run of first team football will help him develop imo. Definitely agree with you there. Shane, Sammy, Abeid need to go out on loan but our s*** squad depth means we can't really afford to. Annoying. Yep. We've got a few young players who'd do well getting regular playing time on loan. Bigi, Ferguson, Sammy, Amalfitano, Abeid, etc. Unfortunately, they're all first-off-the-bench for the most part.
