Game tonight in Kingston against the Reggae Boyz. Jamaica is a tough team, some great speed up top and outside. Wouldn't be shocked if they somehow snuck-in to Brazil. The Western Hemisphere is gaining strength in the footie world. CONCACAF isn't just Mexico and the U.S. anymore, stiff challengers in Costa Rica, Panama, Jamaica, and Honduras.

Ecuador's currently sitting pretty in the table too. Tony V at the helm.

Obviously Ba and Cisse. Obviously. We control games better when Tiote plays and are poor when he doesn't. We win games when we score goals. We should've picked up Defoe then.

I've been impressed as hell with Beckham's performance in MLS. Technical deficiencies aside, it's not an easy league to play in. Very similar to the premier league in physicality and pace, add to that the fact that every single MLS player loves to take a hack at Beckham and he has held up remarkably well, especially playing as a center-mid. For a past-his-prime 38 year old English wanker, the guy is pretty damn good. Plus he can still hit a free better than almost anyone, MLS or otherwise. Only Pirlo has a lighter touch, imo.

Every club is allowed two marquee players, one overseas and one australian. So Sydney will have Brett Emerton and Del Piero outside the salary cap. Earning around 3 million Aussie Dollars a year between them. The rest will fall under the salary cap which is 2.5 million dollars, looking like they will have Jason Culina as well. The bigger clubs like Sydney and Melbourne have the money to splurge on a big marquee. Does the A-League have a single-entity structure like MLS?

I thought Robbie Fowler was "that guy"

Different players. Dempsey will occupy the role vacated by VDV...they're almost like-for-like so Spurs really won't miss a beat there (though I think VDV might be a touch better player at this point, though Dempsey's got more years left). Pienaar had to compete with Bale for playing time and there aren't many left wingers better than Bale.

It was his very first number growing up. And his nickname.

Abramovich is such a twat.

Solid player, would be a good purchase for the right price.
-
Think Swansea and Fulham have done some astute business. Agreed. Fulham made bank on Dembele and Dempsey, but Berbatov was a shrewd buy and they've got some good young players.
-
They looked to be occupying the same area for much of the game.

This needs a good bump. Formation is everything to this team.
-
If we don't come out fully 4-3-3 next week, I'll lose it. Formation is EVERYTHING for this squad.

How the hell is that not a hand??

Oh Hatem, you little devil.

You just have a stroke?

Why are we still talking about his guy.

He is poor. Its the lack of pace and absolute zero recovery when beaten by his man. You are right about him doing good things. Hitler did good stuff to, gets rather overlooked somewhat though. Still a fecking lunatic murdering headcase to put it midly. That's like the (no homo) tag people use to protect themselves from gay things they say. "Hey bro, no homo buuuut I love me a dick up the shoot."

That analogy is a combination of and Mind-numbingly awful. Why thanks, thanks for not realising it was a bit of fun and just a joke, that has run well i thought. Thanks for contribution to it Please, you made an awful analogy in all sincerity and are now trying to play it off like you were taking the piss. The last two pages have been hilarious because they're mocking what you said.

And the Pedant of the Day award goes to...

They do have that absolutely atrocious statue of Jacko out front Craven and the owner who thinks the British government assassinated his son and Princess Di.
