  1. Should have stayed on and switched with Cisse tbh. If we absolutely had to bring on Obertan, should've been for Papi.
  2. Deuce

    Hatem Ben Arfa

Simply amazing player. He could be starting for almost any team.
  3. Deuce

    James Perch

When Colo's back, Perch needs to start at RB over Simps.
  4. That bonecrunching tackle when he ripped himself a new anus. Pards trying to sub him off in the 14th minute:
  5. Lot of poor-passing so far. HBA, Jonas, Tiote only players looking decent. Cabaye offering nothing. I expect to see Anita in some way, shape, or form in the 2nd half. For his fitness if nothing else. We need a 3rd CB.
  6. Deuce

    Erik Pieters

  7. Starting Sinclair, Dyer, and Riise in fantasy today.
  8. My decision to select Riise and Nathan Dyer has paid off so far Except they didn't count Dyer's assist on that goal
  9. Be hilarious if Ross County pulls out a win
  10. I think we can do it, tbh. Spurs have a lot of ?s going into this season. AVB being one of them. 1st and 2nd are locked-up already and Arsenal and Chelsea should battle it out for 3rd and 4th. But we should be fighting Tottenham and Liverpool for 5th and I think we have a more unified squad at this point than either of them.
  11. More likely they'd target M'Vila, no?
  12. I'm so blasé about your impressive lexicon. I think you mean his vocabulary. "Vocabulary" as a term is so passé these days.
  13. I'm so blasé about your impressive lexicon.
  14. Song isn't what Barca need either, unless they're planning to convert him or Busquets to centre back. apparently they are, dunno why they just don't do what everyone else does and go out and actually buy a centre half Barca are the hipsters of the football world. CBs are so blasé.
  15. Listening to some pundits on ESPN talk about the situation, Steve Nicol (his former coach in MLS) and Robbie Earle find it hard to believe Dempsey's refused to play. Not in his character. This could be Martin Lol throwing a hissy, as he's been known to do.
  16. Is that really the problem in this particular deal? I was of the impression it's because once he does get to that sort of his age he won't be worth very much. Wonder how much Cole is worth? Depends, are we going by the Steven Fletcher market standard?
  17. The latter seems to be Ashley's top priority. But I'd say there's need for a balance between the two.
  18. Even getting solid fullback work from Debuchy for 3 years would be worth it for the price, imo.
  19. Always struck me as an arsehole. He is tbh. Tough life growing up. Come a long way.
  20. I don't think it's about being frugal as we agreed a price for him. If his value's gone up since then they have the option to sell elsewhere, but not many clubs want to pay £6m for a 27 yr old full back with no resale value otherwise he'd have been signed already. Agree with this. The longer this goes on, the less interested I am in seeing him here. It might be a good idea to see how young Tavernier goes in the position before shelling out shitloads on a 27 year old. #Speechless FFS Like a 27-year old is "old" in football. Hardly shitloads either
