Arguably has the best engine in the race, had New One off the bridle first when they last met and was proving to be a cracking race race till TNW blundered the last. Biggest worry about MTOY is the fact last year it failed to get up the hill against Champagne Fever. They all have pros and cons and the safest money is the fly as he's been there and done it but certainly don't think it's just the two horse race. Our Conor even has a big shout of turning tables with the fly given his age and improvement rate. Really can't wait for this. Best race of the festival this year by a long way. I think it's obvious The New One would have won against MTOY in the Christmas Hurdle had it not hit the last which is why I still think the betting is right and TNO & HF deserve to be at the top of the market. Should be a cracker though. I reckon the Supreme Novices is a good renewal as well, Irving seemed a certainty last week but seems to be drifting whilst money comes in for Mullins' two. Quevega should have ran against Big Bucks when she was at her peak. Connections knew they'd win the Mares Hurdle year after year but it's been a boring, safe tactic in my opinion. Even last year, without Big Bucks, they avoided the World Hurdle. She hardly ever runs and most years only runs twice a year - at Cheltenham & Punchestown festivals. It's too difficult to say when age will catch up with her because of the lack of action so one year she'll get turned over at a short price, just hopefully not this year. Really fancy Hurricane Fly tomorrow, the 11/4 on offer is huge in my opinion for a dual Champion Hurdle winner.

Another good day on the horses. Had a £5 free bet which went on Saffire Song (2.50 Southwell) @ 5/1. Got £25 back which went straight onto Sound Investment (3.10 Taunton) @ 2/1 to get me to £75. Put £25 on Gogeo (3.20 Southwell) @ 6/4 which left my balance on £112.50. Just lost the £12.50 on Roalco De Farges (3.30 Ludlow) @3/1 but managed to find the will power to withdraw the £100 instead of losing it! Wasn't even any point in leaving some cash in for the Europa League as it appears impossible to win anything. That's me done until Saturday.

I'll never really enjoy watching players with limited technical ability. I prefer to watch footballers play the game and not just athletes. I understand that Sissoko has had a positive influence on many of our good wins this season, just found the rugby reference relevant.
