Were so painful in the final third, every key pass right at the end is wrong.

We look great until the final third, then it's just pass to the wing, turn around and back to the keeper, we really are lacking ideas going forward ATM, can't seem to break down teams unless they go right at us, ala City or Spurs games. It's probably the best we've looked on the ball all season though despite giving the ball away a fair bit in the first 5. Just feels like no matter what we aren't gonna get anything from this though, definitely has the one of those games sort of vibes.

Trippier misplaced his first 4 forward passes of the game putting a lot of pressure on us, weird from him, one thing you can usually rely on.

How is Murphy our starting right winger in 2024 man.

Thought he played well, but like others have said I just wish he had that extra little bit of quality, never good enough to be starting for us once we get a proper RW but a very good player to have as a squad player, gives absolutely everything and is capable of moments especially late on against tired defences.

Some incredible saves but is still saving some routine shots awkwardly and seems like he doesn't want to catch the ball, it's quite strange at this point. Obviously his kicking we all already know is dreadful.

Excellent game, so encouraged to see us play so well and look so committed, thought Trippier was superb but they all played their part. We need to take this into the Everton game and turn the horrible c*nts over.

Doesn't send the best of messages, just sulk around put in half arsed performances and you'll get a new contract to appease you. Love the lad but he should have been taken off much earlier amd should be dropped for the next game.

I always suspected Howe would only be able to take us so far and I get the feeling he's close to that now, desperately hope I'm wrong but that's just my gut feeling. I still chose Howe over Mitchell though because I don't trust Mitchell or Eales one bit and the jury is still out.
