There's no chance we're getting the GK, ST, CM, CB we need at minimum in this window, really seems like amateur hour behind the scenes we are just unable to do more than one thing at a time and even that's slow. I have no doubt the targets are there but just don't seem to be able to get anything done at any kind of urgency or speed, even the outgoings, I thought the fee was agreed for Longstaff are we holding that up aswell? Haven't even mentioned that all of our targets from our supposed fantastic scouting team are very unimaginative. Bored.

Would be delighted with this but I think the price has to be right, I think 30 million tops.

Hugo Ekitike (not playing for Liverpool for a while)

I don't want to go overboard but I really do think everything is going to great forever -
I'm certainly in no hurry for him to leave, there's every chance he will smash it again this season, just out of our big hitters I think he'd be the easiest to replace.
-
I've gone from thinking he's absolutely indispensable to us to thinking if we HAD to sell for PSR purposes or go big on someone it would be him who I would want us to sacrifice for it, it wasn't just that his levels dropped last season it seemed to be his attitude aswell, his body language was shocking.

Was expecting some mad announcement with lasers and a mad dubstep drop and got Sammy the truant. Little shit.

This would be an excellent signing

Sean Longstaff (now playing for Leeds United)

Definitely solid enough to do well for a lower mid table side, think he's made for that level tbh, occasionally capable of slightly above that level too, agree that £15 million would be a fair price. -
17 goal contributions last season and still very young.

Holy moly! Based on nothing I think they'll sell for 60, they'll reject this and we will be waiting another week to hear anything
-
We barely have a coherent transfer strategy ourselves but our owners are sabotaging Sunderland's deal for a new keeper
-
Good way to get clicks before going off on holiday for a week, he doesn't know anything new, just knows that they are heavily linked.
-
The best thing I can say about the window so far is that we've been heavily linked to good players in each of the main positions we need to strengthen.
-
Can't say I'm too sad about it but if that's another of our top targets gone, what are we actually doing?
-
Anyone mentioned bringing Keegan in as DoF yet? Not long before that one gets floated like a bad stench.
-
He's even said himself he's not expecting big signings through the door, could be a smokescreen of course.
-
I could maybe get on board with this if he was literally 3rd or 4th choice to play in an injury crisis etc... but as fantastic as Howe is he does have his favourites and you don't want to see a finished Wilson starting ahead of younger players who need the minutes or new signings. Only reason I can think for offering this is that our budget for signings is going be on the slim side again.
-
Clearly not fit and being constantly rushed back, we never learn.
-
I think if you factor in goals to games ratio and don't blame him for being unlucky with injuries, he's been a great signing overall, I'm sure we will all wonder what could have been without the injuries, but he really was a top striker at his best.
-
Not sure who's been worse out of Barnes, Gordon and Murphy It's one of those games where we will huff and puff and won't score, and a sneaky counter from them wins it, seen it 1000 times.

What a superb signing he's been man, he's been outstanding almost every game this season.
