  1. It doesn't have to be someone who's insanely wealthy like the City owners, even just someone who wants us to stay within our means, but actually has a real tangible plan in place to use the TV money, and any other incoming money to improve the club as a whole, training, facilities, academy etc... even if its not overnight. And someone who understands sometimes you can't spend just 30 million a season on a whole squad, and sometimes it's OK to spend that on one player if it's what we need.
  2. Full time and excellent point really, they are nothing special, we should have won it at the end if Atsu wasn't absolute turd. Good defensive display at the back but thought Lascelles looked shaky, Manquillo garbage as expected, thought Ki and Diame did well in the middle, excellent all round game from Rondon. Thought the subs were a mistake and he should have tried something better than throwing the spanish chuckle brothers on, you know exactly what you'll get from both of them.
  3. Commentators on this broadcast are vomit inducing, completely on Evertons side about everything.
  4. Would take it finishing like this right now, and would be a good away point, can see us crumbling in the second half though. Still sticking with 3-1.
  5. Everton really are the Liverpool mackems like, utter small time cunts despite being quite a good team for quite a long time.
  6. Aye, he's fucking clueless that Rafa. High line against West Ham was a stroke of genius like.
  7. Excellent run and assist, doesn't cancel out his 1 and a half seasons of nothing performances like, but it bodes well.
  8. Don't think hes very good personally.
  9. Maybe Kenedy on a permanent contract is a different player to a one-year loan signing? Especially with a young family... It's all hypothetical, of course, but you can't simply say "exactly where we are now". Same two players only with 40 million difference in price, I doubt they would both turn into world beaters because we paid actual coin for them, I get what you're saying though, maybe one or both would feel a greater duty to the club on a permanent deal.
  10. Personally think Atsu is slightly better and offers more, but both are turboshite.
  11. If Rafa had been given the money to spend if the figures are to be believed we would have spent 25 mil on Kenedy and 16 mil on Rondon, so we would be exactly where we are now.
  12. Continued to play a ridiculously high line after we were exposed time and time again, big mistake that ultimately cost us but I still think we'd have lost anyway, we weren't what I would call awful but we wouldn't have scored if we had played for another 5 hours, bad day at the office, and West Hams best players made the difference.
  13. Looks a bit like Shane off the walking dead.
  14. Could really see our game plan tonight and I think it worked brilliantly, we were in control for most of the game when you look back without the nerves, we hardly looked troubled at the back and IMO we deserved the 3 points, its the quality of the attacking players that stopped us from winning that 3 or 4-1. Credit where its due 3 wins on the bounce and we are turning our season around, long may it continue, can't help but think what we could do if we invested in a 2 or 3 higher quality players though. triggs has just made a cracking point that I noticed too, rather than booting it forward and having it come back at us we are trying to pass our way out and while at times is nervy, has helped us come under far less pressure, the introduction of Ki and having CB's playing who are more comfortable on the ball than Lascelles has paid dividends. We haven't missed Shelvey one bit. Rafa deserves huge credit.
  15. 7 goals in a team that's second bottom of the league, imagine if they hit some form, golden boot material.
  16. Its really petty, but I really really hope he had a shit birthday.
  17. I get the anger towards him, which is slightly over the top mind. But I get it, for the comments and how he has seemingly changed his refreshing and honest outlook on things, BUT its nothing Rafa hasn't said himself. Rafa has came out and said we all need to stick together and that he didn't want to see boycotts because we needed everyone in good spirits and backing the team etc....pulling in same direction. So maybe his words are relayed from Rafa rather than Fat Mike. (I agree with the boycotts and planned action btw) Edit: https://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/rafa-benitez-gives-view-talk-15338615 isn't this just the same?
  18. He could take us down with no more wins for the rest of the season and certain sections of fans wouldn't have him to take a share of the blame, and I honestly believe that. Edit: Before people start crying, I'm delighted with how he seems to be turning around our fortunes, despite my criticisms I think he is the right man for the job and have never even considered wanting him to leave, just for him to do better with what he has which hopefully this is the start of.
