If a game is open I would quite like to see him as a slightly deeper forward. Isak, ASM, Almiron being wider but further forward creating space in the middle for Wilson to exploit, with his finishing.

He is performing very well indeed. Sometimes we might need a different way of playing but he should be part of the squad for the foreseeable.

He's rapid and good at tackling, seems fairly skilfull and plenty of room to imrpove. Being pressed by a player that quick is going to enable us to win the ball high up the pitch more often than we currently do.

There may be something to be said for feeling confident that we will acheive top 4 which will open up a higher tier of target and so may wish to keep powder dry for that scenario. I'm certainly not of the view that we need large scale investment to consolidate our position.
