  1. He’d make a bloody great pirate.
  2. I’m seeing double here, 4 Almirons.
  3. RIP Joe. I think (hope) Football probably gave you a fantastic life. You weren’t the right man for the job with us, but you were never insincere.
  4. He will give us one more season I believe.
  5. Great pass out to Barnes yesterday for the goal. Really likeable player.
  6. I’d love us to be in the Europa next season.
  7. Willokc hasn't seemed anywhere near fit since he has been back.
  8. Needs to reference Isak equalling Gouffran’s streak.
  9. ‘The last man to do that was……youan Gouffran’
  10. Alsy Jake Gyllenhaal looks like he could be Richard Lewis' son.
  11. Can someone explain why thats not offside?
  12. It was amazing they were announcing it on tv after he had been sent off, without realising he had been sent off.
  13. Sporting was a quarter, and Dyer played and scored in the 4-1 in Lisbon. We were just outplayed in both of those games, almost like Graeme Sounness wasn't a good manager.
  14. The cab rank rules apply it means people can’t refuse instruction. So if NDM is available he can’t refuse to act, there are workarounds.
  15. As Newcastle fans we have plenty of experience giving managers not suited to the job much more time than they deserve (usually because they shouldn't have been appointed in the first place). I can't help but think that this has left some scarring. Sir Bobby finished 11th in his first season (september appointment) and 11th in his second (first full season). It is not the position that is particularly important, but the improvement. Part of the issue at the moment is that it feels like a number of issues have been clear for a while that haven't improved. But if we had a full squad or fuller squad available how much would these issues have even appeared. Quite happy i've seen comfortably more positive signs from Howe than negatives. Don't think an informed decision can be made about whether he is the right man for the job until halfway through next season.
  16. It is also worth remembering that he is not experienced at the level we have been at (Upper Premier League European Competitors). He is gaining experience all the time. Do you think the players would have looked as relaxed against Sunderland away if they hadn't had the experience of the European campaign. The same benefits of experience will be found more covertly in Eddie. He has shown that he can have us competing against the very best, what is missing is consistency.
