  1. I imagine we bought all our gym equipment from Sports Direct.
  2. Remember when we good? Not Rafa good but top of the league in January good? :'(
  3. Just some fag packet Maths the season we were last relegated we sold Sissoko and Wijnaldum for £40m and received a £40m parachute payment...
  4. Is there a reliable figure for how much relegation actually costs? More specifically, when we come straight back up.
  5. I play like a cross between Colo and Sissoko. Always try and win the ball cleanly at the back, read the game and make interceptions and look to play the ball out. Also have a decent engine so can surge pretty well like Sissoko, I'm also fully wank at shooting, like Moussa. On a more general, romantic note I'd be Cassano. Undoubtedly talented but with completely the wrong mentality to get good value from the talent.
  6. The managers aren’t spending the money. That’s why.
  7. Glad the new manager isn't having genuinely awful training sessions or bizarre game plans.
  8. So History has probably shown we sold him at the right time*. Is 8 years later the right time to buy him back? *As in he was never better than when we had him.
  9. When journalists are so intellectually dishonest it's when you think there's some sort of shenanigans going on.
  10. Fucking hell you can't count that twice.
  11. So wait is the Europe with 'ull a result of losing the cup final?
  12. I wonder if this Homer Nickson is any relation.
  13. I didn't mean anything by it. I think effective protests are difficult to get off the ground because for a lot of people they just aren't that bothered at the moment. I'm not sure a significant number of people will ever be that bothered by what goes on at NUFC to remove themselves from the match day experience. Like you say people will moan but not make a stand, I think part of that is its just not that important to them. It's a difficult object to get around. That said, I think the season will probably sour reasonably quickly and support for protest will galvanise and vocalise as the season goes on. I think Rafa leaving will prove to be a watershed moment but I don't think it will feel like one in the early stages of this season. Part of the problem with targeting the first game of the season is that it just takes a couple of signings and people will use it as a reason to maintain their status quo. What I would say is that although turnout for Arsenal may be disheartening it is like to be as good as it gets in terms of fan satisfaction, or giving the club the benefit of the doubt. The conditions are ripe for protest to develop throughout the season, unpopular manager, heavy defeats, injuries, signings that will take time to adjust etc.
  14. Imagine equating the struggle over civil rights with premier league football. not a dig it’s just not a big enough deal for a lot of people.
  15. Any size tips for buying from DHGate? I am looking for something that corresponds to a 40" chest.
  16. 'Crusty was designed by two local children, Cayden, eight, and Neve, nine, as part of a competition ran by the club as part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme and with the Wigan Athletic Community Trust. The Primary Stars programme provides PE, PSHE Support, competitions and a number of other activities for over 90 Primary Schools a year across Wigan. More than 50 per cent of entries were a pie.'
  17. Too bad he's left, they could have been even furtherer under Bruce.
