Haha, heard that on my way home. Best bit was when 'Malcolm' started ranting... "You phoned me, I didn't want to be on".... until the presenter said, "Malcolm, you called us last night, and when you didn't have time to get on, you asked us to ring you tonight" Marco was right on the defensive... saying he was being insulted, and all sorts. Think it was implied the only reason MG stays for full matches at Sunlun is because he gets his ticket free.

Lets hope Mackems have nightmares tonight, about a Kevin Nolan hattrick and his chicken dance.
-
Pardew coming up on SSN after the break, talking about a player... "He's a player I desperately wanted to take to Noocarsel, but the chief scout told me he wasn't good enough"
-
Hehe... great preparation for saturdays 12:30 kick off against Arsenal.
-
Sure I heard they are the early kick-off too.

Annoying thing is, two of those are recent, and they still stayed up both times! That 1976-77 season, was the one where they got their hatred of Jimmy Hill from.

Marco getting more stick tonight on TS, and he said something odd about Moyes and the current situation. He said that things may not get any/much better in January in terms of signings. He then said that "if Short is indeed trying to sell the club, then why would he spend millions more out of his own pocket" I thought this summer gone was the one where Premier League clubs were all getting multi millions of TV cash? So where has Sunluns TV cash gone, if Short would have to spend money out of his own pocket, as MG put it? Indeed, even the likes of Palace managed to spend silly money, yet Sunlun only spent about £30m on a load of reserves and unknowns.

All from the first page, didn't bother with any more. So their frame of reference for China = takeaway food. Jesus f*cking CHRIST what year is it in that shithole?? If it happens, hopefully this consortium is headed up by another Vincent Tan, or Dr Tony.

Oh dear. Apparently they are considering recalling Sebastian Coates from his loan at Sporting Lisbon.

Managed to get a couple of tickets for this match, this morning for me and the bairn. Mainly only singles dotted about left, apart from the Platinum club (£45-50), but managed to get a couple mid-leazes. Lets hope its not another Wolves type game.

Jason Denayer out for up to 4 weeks - injured whilst with the Belgium U21s.

Be quite amusing if Pickford picked up a knock or injury in training with England. He is their only 'senior' keeper left, isn't he?
-
But then the Sunlun Echo go and employ a 'rabid Newcastle fan' to report on them. The whole media is truly against them. #Magedia

I can forgive Townsend slightly for that as he only joined late January and still scored 4 goals - unlike the others who contributed little or nothing in the same period, and Sissoko with his one goal over the full season.

Did they both happen in the same match ? For some reason thought they were separate games. Game when Mira attacked Beasant was sold out but Gallowgate was way past given capacity, sure it was pre Hillsborough. They were two separate matches. The Vinny/Gazza incident was at Plough lane in the league earlier in the season, but the Mirandinha/Beasant one was up here in the FA Cup 3rd round - that was my first ever match too, went in the corner with my older cousin. Another good one from that season, was Chelsea at home, not long after that Wimbledon game. We won 3-1, with Gazza scoring and 2 from Mirandinha. He was being subbed, and didn't want to go off, as he was on a hattrick.. players having to usher him off. Never seen the goals from that game since, and they've never turned up on YT or on that Facebook page that cover those years.

I always remember someone in the east stand (towards the Gallowgate) used to go to matches in one of those rubber Elvis wigs. Dunno if it was the same person who did the indian cry, like.

Is Defoe out? Last night on Total sport, loads of them were ringing in saying as desperate as it sounded, they hoped Anichebe would play, only for Gary Bennett to tell them all.... 'He's injured'. With that bombshell, they all resigned themselves to another loss
-
Aye, this could be the classic banana skin given each teams position, but I'm sure Rafa will be aware and remind the players to be professional. Just hope we win, whether it be a goal-fest, or a single penalty. But obviously, it'd be great for them to play well and bag a few.
-
They were talking about todays line up on Total Sport last night, and Anderson was saying whilst he would expect midfield and forwards to be rotated, he thought Rafa should be settling on a fixed back four, as they are important to play alongside each other regularly. Whilst I can see that argument, I also think rotating them (certainly pre-christmas) is the way to go. If you play a steady back 4 regularly, then ne or two get injured, you bring in one or two squad players who have to adapt to the system/other players quickly. With the rotation policy, some squad players are playing semi-regularly alongside the 'first choices' like Lascelles. So if/when they have to come in, then they still know how to play alongside each other. I still think its great that we have such a squad where all players know they are going to get chances, so they are hopefully more ready to come in/on, as they know they are going to get chances to play.

They've sold around 32k for tomorrow's match and the remaining tickets which will take the crowd over the 43k mark have been handed out for free to the University, local schools, colleges and businesses. Basically they've handed out even more freebies than they did for the Crystal Palace match to avoid what would have been a sub 35k crowd. I know this to be a fact although it's hardly difficult to work out that 5,000 more people wouldn't buy tickets for this fixture after what happened last Saturday when they threw away a 2 goal lead to a very poor side. Basically tomorrow's crowd will be 32,000ish plus how many free tickets they have dished out. Was just gonna say, 'Sold' 43,000 tickets will be a bit far fetched with their usual freebie distribution. Thats why they use 'FTM so much...'Free Ticket Mackems'
