'Kin hell, just turned the match on and Southampton are 2-0 up at the Emirates??? Thats what they get for ignoring a young lassy! Hehe

Get In, Leeds back in it.

Unsurprisingly, saying the ball hit his arm, totally ignoring the fact TAA's arm moves towards the ball and it hits him on the elbow, so even below the supposed top sleeve or whatever it supposed to be allowed. They aren't even trying to hide the bias towards the big six clubs and these dodgy decisions anymore. Also Maguire yesterday, with a handball that was basically the same as that by the forest player for our penalty winner down there.

Gazza on Channel4 now, on this new 'Scared of the Dark' thing, looks like big brother in a pitch black house. He looks rough, like. And who thinks it's a good idea for him to go on this??
-
Slightly unfair I think. At the time going into the WC, he was doing ok and part of the same back five that (I think) still has the best defensive record in the league. England (if I remenber rightly) didn't have a fit left back, so he would have gave Southgate versatility too, in being able to play LB and CB. Was definitely worth a shout at the time. But lately, I think he's been found out somewhat that pacy players can have a go at and rattle him, and think maybe Targett is worth his place back.

Just had a look on DHGate, and a few sellers have the alleged Saudi Green shirt for next season already!

Just seen the Chel$ea result..... Super Frank, eh??

Dodgy first half, better second half, cracking result. Brentford no soft touch at home, so very pleased with this one. Great to finally see Isak and Wilson get some decent minutes together (even if it was by necessity rather than design), and Gordon get pretty much a full half for us too. At least we have a week of rest now, ahead of the next away match. Onwards we go.

Woah, alreet man! At the time if his signing, he was talked up as one for the future and trippiers successor, hence why I didn't expect him to start featuring till next season.
-
Was he ever meant or expected to feature for the first team this season? Always assumed he was one for the future and wouldn't feature till next season anyway?

I thought it was a cross from the by-line that struck his (outstretched) arm and he was on the near post? Haven't seen it back since the incident, so may be wrong. Either way, point I was making stands, they were upset/frustrated that they were denied a blatant penalty themselves earlier in the match - it wasn't purely becasue of the Willian incident.
-
Rightly or wrongly, I think the complaints were born out of frutsration as Fulham were denied a pretty blatant penatly shout earlier in the game, for a foul on Mitrovich, Then Man U are given a penalty and Fulham a red card when a cross hits Willians arm. Again, comes down to consitency from the officials, and what appears to be favouritism for a big club, especially at their own ground too. As for the ban - too harsh? maybe - but a longer than normal ban (3 match) was probably expected as a deterant for the future. However, the rules are that you should not put hands on an official, so Fernandes should have been punished in some way too, even if it was retrospectively following the Mitrovich incident, again to reinforce the stance (no hands on officials).

HAHAHA, just seen the result, get in... will take that.

KInda fell sorry for Potter. Seems like the new owners were playing fantasy football, and throwing players at him, and he was probably under pressure to try and play them all, and then thats never gonna help get a settled team. But as for chel$ea.... Be great if they finish mid-lower table and then FFP comes for them.

Tena Hag syaing its for the ref to sort the timewasting, and its the policy of the FA. So its fine for them to take theri time to slow the game and opposition down when under pressure, but not the opposition when they are leading/winning? Whiny baldy kernt!

Said we didn't win with quality, we just wanted it more. Bitter Kernt!

Look at Shay Given's little face, man. He's loving being at our matches this season. Him and Murphy, proper fanboys.
