  2. Don't know why people would let a letter in any way change their opinions on someone anyway
  3. If that was giving his all he's a shit footballer
  4. I don't think you can have been really poor and start every game in midfield for the winners of the tournament He started 4 out of 7 games in the tournament And only played over 60 minutes twice Don't let your facts get in the way of my argument. Still didn't look really poor like
  5. Yaya's motivation to play for Everton would be off the charts
  6. I don't think you can have been really poor and start every game in midfield for the winners of the tournament
  7. Gonna be weird watching Barca without Dani Alves
  8. Grass gives an even shitter bounce iirc
  9. How do people still believe those things?
  10. I strongly doubt all of it is going to be spent. No point in spending money just for the sake of it once Rafa is happy with the squad. One or two more signings should do
  11. Sounds like a really limited player, not a very good one to me. Not really, most midfielders have the responsibility of getting the ball and moving it up the pitch quickly, whether that's by passing it or running with it

Don't really understand why we bought another keeper
  15. I'll be interested to see whether he picks a squad to suit his football or picks all the "stars" and tries to make them fit into his style
  16. At this point in time, in the games I've seen him play, he produces significantly less than those you've listed above. He has the potential to be the best, sure, but I really don't think that he is at this moment in time. What do you mean by produces significantly less? I only ask because he scored and assisted significantly more than them all last season. I suppose I mean produce in 'big' games as that's what he really should be doing as the most expensive player in history (if it happens). When it's come to the crunch I've seen all of the others perform in big games, can't say the same for Pogba myself. Flat tracking it with Juve in Series A isn't the same imo, same kind of criticism that was levelled at Cristiano for a number of years as well. He was Juve's best player on their run to the CL final in 2015, including setting up the crucial goal against Madrid in the semis. He was 22. I understand that criticism was aimed at Ronaldo as well despite him being the highest scorer ever in the CL and scored at all stages of the knockouts. To summarise, it was nonsense. Fair enough man. When Pogba has realised his potential and is holding a major international trophy or the CL or something we'll revisit. For me atm he's never dominated or performed on the biggest stages. If he wanted to win the CL he would've stayed at Juve You're going to be gutted when we're back on top. Nah I'm just being realistic based on the performances of the English teams in the CL lately, Juve have got to the final recently and only barely got knocked out last season by one of the best teams in it. Much better defence and if Pogba stayed a much better midfield than Man Utd
  17. Even if he does go on to do well there, I won't be annoyed that we sold him, his game needs to be surrounded by good players, he isn't a leader which is what a team like us needs from a player as talented as him
  18. Norwich, Man Utd draw, Spurs last day of the season but I wouldn't count that, Liverpool win, Chelsea draw, West Ham win, probably a few more. He played well in quite a few matches, the problem is when he doesn't play well it's like having a ghost playing

  20. Think he's fairly creative anyway. But for £35m even today - you would expect goals or genuine ability on the ball in the final third. He's a £20m signing for an Everton or someone. £35m.... Arsenal... Juve.... lunacy. In fairness Arsenal have had players like Coquelin, Flamini, Elneny regularly knocking around their midfield in recent years
  21. Sissoko will be a good player in a team if he just has the responsibility of getting the ball and bringing it up the pitch, and not relied upon to create chances
