I dont personally know, but I refuse to believe there isn't one. Remember when people took the piss out of Man U for signing that random unknown Vidic?
  2. That could have gone to every ref and VAR in the league and it still would have been red
  3. Get ready for some comedy then....not a chance in hell this will be overturned. The real comedy will come in the media tomorrow slating Schar for his violent conduct, and how good Diaz was for giving his team a chance 👏
  4. It was win plain and simple. 3 points are 3 points. Not exactly a great advert for how the season may go, but promoted teams do have a tendency to spring shocks in their first game purely down to excitement and adrenaline. This was a massive banana skin....we might have wobbled, buy didn't actually fall despite the the officials best attempts

Kind of made your own point there. He's had a half decent international tournament, so is now seen as one of the best CBs in the world, despite everyone knowing there's obviously better out therd
  6. Next Sunderland manager? Heard he was a mlf. They've not had a new manager for a few weeks
  7. Give him a break....who knows what the Mysterons are telling him to do
  8. It won't get overturned as we're not one of the slippery six. By the letter of the law it was completely correct. Unfortunately it won't even be looked at in any detail as it ultimately didn't stop us winning. A competent ref would have blown the second Diaz shoved Schar over which was a card at least in itself seeing how deliberately he did it. In a common sense world with the amount of footage available Diaz would have been off, for the foul then Simulation
  9. Softest of soft sendings off, but once the refs look over it Diaz will get sod all for the rest of the season now. He's marked his card as a diving soft git and it will cost them long term
  10. Well obviously if he doesn't show a red Schar doesn't get sent off. He should have blown the second Diaz shoved him over clearly and obviously deliberately. Schar was a knob for biting In a just and fair world Diaz gets a retrospective card for the shove, and a second for being a bellend. But that's not our world. Ours is where Schar is now banned for 3 games for daring to object to a blatant and unnecessary foul, and Diaz is free to be a c*** to someone else
  11. Balls to them south coast Makems. Used to be the only show down there built on le tissier being mint, but Bourmouth and Brighton have well and truly passed them now
  12. If this was 10-15 games in to a season that would be realistic. But promoted teams are always massively up for their first game, and have given us problems before
  13. No one was exactly jumping for joy when we plucked Schaar out of relative obscurity, but how much would we be paying for him now if 10 years younger and playing for (just for shits and giggles) Crystal Palace?

That is basically Mitchell's office job. Obviously 95% of his time is real world dealing with actual people but he will no doubt have a database of pretty much every registered player. It would be naive to think a software/game maker could get something on these lines while actually involved professionals didn't have something more extensive and advanced Microsoft can make you think you're flying an F-22 in a game and it's simple, but everyone knows the reality is massively different, but the absolute basics are still there

I get the sarcasm, but when it is literally your job to do it all day every day (obviously more detailed and advanced) then you should be pretty good at it

Ok rephrase...anyone who's ever done any kind of recruitment in any way shape or form knows you need at least one back up option. There's a million reasons for him to join and twice as many to not. Sounds very Freddy Shepherd to do eggs in one basket. Out of date when he did it and absurd now

If this Mitchell is half as competent as being made out there will be other options. As always, the press don't know a tenth of what's actually going on. If they do know everything then we've got bigger issues than getting another body in

There's no realistic way we don't have any targets beyond guehi. Anyone who's spent an hour playing FM has a back up. Only way we don't is if were wasting a lot of time on physical meetings we know aren't going to progress

If we've got 55/60m to spend it could be used more productively abroad. Guehi is a statement signing, but we could get equal quality and an rw looking beyond pl players. More of a gamble maybe. Can't argue that guehi wouldn't improve us, but if we're as skint as being made out we need to be smarter

Isn't Steve Parish just Simon Jordans mini-me?
  21. There was a bit of a buzz around them when they were spending what was (at the time) big money on players like Marlet, Malbranque, and managers like Keegan. Like them more than Palace...especially with their double Pardew association

Congratulations...I and probably several others will be having nightmares for the foreseeable future.

Any team can have good results across a season....what I was trying to get at is, are they realistically ever going to finish above Arsenal, Chelsea, Tottenham? West Ham is borderline which makes them at their very best the 4th best club in London. Condescending as it probably is anything above 9th is a massive result for them
