Would be awesome....couldn't think of a manager less suited to them
-
Being able to mimic a set up is fine....until it goes wrong and you don't really understand how to fix it. Nickson might by highly rated as a scout but let's be genuinely honest here making him sporting director makes about as much sense as Ashley putting McLaren on the board of directors. And it's not exactly like his scouting has been particularly clever or innovative
-
Either would be awesome....please please please. Also add to the list Poyet and Di Canio. Basically any reprobate who managed to beat us would delight them
-
Not a good comparison really. They saw they had a weakness creeping in and addressed it....we attempted it but it went badly wrong with Tonali, and to an extent Barnes, then spending what was left on players for the future who despite looking good can barely get a look in
-
This draw is remarkably similar to my 'likely draw' post in a different thread. Almost entirely predictable. There's no way they they are not using hot or cold balls....just ensure maximum viewership
-
How? Suppose they could dig up Peter Reid
-
That has to be a yes. Probably pushing a title challenge till the last few games. Yes EH is good, but he seems to be a bit slow on picking up obvious errors this season...especially with to Burn who every other team seems to have sussed as the weakest link. Yes we've had injuries, but a large amount of points lost have come down to farcical errors from players who weren't making them last year. When we have brought others in they play like strangers, which suggests a certain amount of favouritism in the squad in that the 'not first 11' don't have a clue how to join in properly with any routines we presumably work on in training

Last I heard they wanted Iranians to take over...that would be amusing watching them tie themselves up on the human rights stuff given that Iran is a hundred times worse than Saudi
-
Well too bad. Its about time Everton were relegated...they've become the mackemesq turd that just won't flush. They've broke rules...admittedly due to circumstances not entirely in their control. But if the league genuinely think ffp is so important then its time to enforce it properly. Its hamstrung us as we're so afraid of any breaches that will almost inevitably prevent us being able to challenge in the short to mid term, so if we're abiding by them then it should be the same for any other club. No doubt Chelsea and Man City will tie the league up for years with lawyers and escape, but everyone knows that they've spent more than they should have. See you in 2034 when the pl might show some backbone and inflict punishment on them

In no particular order... Newcastle Sunderland Middlesbrough Leeds Sheffield Wednesday Nottingham Forest Aston Villa Liverpool Man Utd Arsenal Chelsea Tottenham Southampton Manchester City Wimbledon pre MK Don's Crystal Palace Everton Leicester Blackburn QPR
-
Will definitely end up at Everton or West Ham. Or stay for another few years and go to Sunderland
-
So they obviously listen to talksport tonight
-
Why? There's not an actual limit until its mathematically impossible. Unlikely yes but not Impossible
-
Almost certainly Arsenal I reckon. He seems the type to like London and thinks anywhere north of Watford is in the wilds. Can't see him going abroad at all
-
Enrique? Remember we never seemed to look fast but hardly ever got beaten for pace
-
You clearly never saw Fumaca...Bobby Robsons greatest ever Brazilain. Courtesy of Mick Wadsworth ?
-
Tbf we've had some dross in my time...apart from a few moments when Beye could be arsed, Warren Barton was the last half decent one...and I didn't think he was that good
-
Add 10m to each of those and they're might be a discussion. This is no longer 2015
-
But but but....KLD is loaded and will make us NETD. Said every RTG member ever. And back in the real world they find KLD is a totally skint mummy's boy who probably earns less per week than Jack Clarke
-
We were within a point or two of top 5 or 6 a few games ago. Any team can go on a bad run and suddenly be way behind. The season ends when it ends, and until its mathematically possible we could still end as champions. Yes it's not going to happen but until its done, its not done
-
There 48 points to play for. Whatever we get out of them is where we deserve to be
-
I'm a kid of 95-97....ill never want anything other than Man U to lose. Don't care who they're playing...its about time they had some misery of no trophies or achievements
-
Just what we need given our history and luck with injuries
-
Just saw it. Not a penalty by the remotest sense of the word. The player left his foot in and tripped over Dubravka. Liverpool would have got it though
