It's times like these I really hope our players at least have a read on here.
-
Whether he is or not that's at least what he's worth to us....100m cash can't sit in a midfield for us, but a Bruno can better than most in the league.
-
He's not the hero they need at the moment
-
Is there another team where individual players get as much love and attention we give to Bruno?
-
Not saying Olise isn't good and certainly nothing to do with his ethnicity. Just has the same swagger and style as Zaha where he gives the impression that if he's not one of the main men he'll flounder
-
Olise is so just Zaha Mkii. Great at Palace but would suck balls anywhere else
-
Didn't we used to have a worst post of the season thread? This has to be a contender
-
Always sounded like a Watford appointment. Good for 3 games then owners get itchy after a loss or two
-
Agree...he'd comfortably improve Arsenal and City. He's dragged down by Longstaff here. With proper quality around him he'd be seen as one of the leagues best, more than he already is
-
They'll have some left field weird idea in mind....much like De Zerbi himself
-
Even as a young winger at Monaco he still managed to destroy us in the UEFA cup in 97
-
Well "fair market" to the slimy 6 according to the Masters crew is about 300m. For us and the rest of the plebs it's about 1m
-
Have we not got any decent goalkeepers in academy or U21/23 we could promote ala Krul? Would make more sense than spending x amount on a backup especially if were as technically skint as everyone thinks?
-
This is absurd...at 25 should never be classed as a young player
-
Good to see recognition, but in no way shape or form is he a 'young' player now. Cut off should be 22
-
Even doing that won't leave too much change from half a billion. Might as.well go the whole hog and sit on the investment for the 40/50 years it'll take to pay for itself
-
Well something has clicked for him. Then saying that pretty much every manager we've had since about 2001 barring KK in 2008 rated Ameobi, who was clearly prime Messi in training, and just forgot how to do it on match days
-
Good on him. It's rare for a player to be garbage for most of a career, fail upwards and actually look good. Could he be one of 'those' that just never really found a system that worked for him till now? Real Madrid don't tend to tolerate s**t players for very long
-
Sorry what? How's the bacon?
-
We've nothing to fear from Man U these days. We no longer roll over to them and always give them a game. 3 games left and 6th is in our hands and not theirs, and 5th is not impossible yet either.
-
Whole world of nope...unless you're after some seriously dodgy stuff there's really not much you can't do in Newcastle which is possible in London/Birmingham
-
Gordon Isak Barnes already is. Do we really have to give other teams a chance
-
Ironically Neville would probably been pretty good as England manager, given how Southgates managed to bore us to decent results despite being garbage at club level
-
These venture capital/hedge fund takeovers never work out well for clubs
-
They might be physically and electronically skint, but they didn't have the power to upset the league
