Pretty weird, but the games I am most excited for tomorrow are Norway vs. Switzerland, and Iceland vs. Albania. really hope both Nordic countries win their home games tomorrow, as it will set up a fantastic finale to group E. Sturridge will score a lot more goals than Soldado. Last year, AVB's Spurs side only won 2-3 games with more than 1 goal margin, whereas Liverpool won god knows how many games 3-0, 4-0, 5-0, etc. Only United scored more than Liverpool last year. I expect Sturridge to score at least 20 league goals this season (injury permitting). Can't say the same about Soldado (well maybe I'm biased)

They indeed are. They were in a piss poor qualifying group, yet only secured qualification on the last match-day with 5 minutes to go against bottom of the table Iraq. Genuinely think if Australia was in the other group, they wouldn't have qualified. Their team is embarrassingly old.

I noticed England are fucked if they lose to Ukraine on tuesday. Last in table of 2nd placed teams....Luckily for England, Moldava managed a draw from Poland in June, so the group didn't become a 4-way battle !

If anything, now Kagawa has less of a chance. when Rooney comes back, he'll play in the hole, and I'm certain moyes prefers Fellaini in the hole ahead of Kagawa too in his 4-4-1-1. Kagawa's only chance is at LW, which will be limited as it appears Moyes fancies Young, and Giggs more there. Even less so with Nani fit now.

to be fair, it doesn't factor the fact that Iniesta is one of the most influential big game players in world football today, whereas Ozil usually goes missing in those. Ozil never got to show his true potential at Madrid though because everything revolves around CR. It's interesting that both today, and against Villa, Rodgers totally changed team's tactics at half-time. Going to preserve the lead, as opposed to try to increase it. Risky, but has worked so far. A bit concerned about the fact that we didn't create much, but was very impressed with our pressing.
