  1. Think I've had enough with Ozil. He is a fraud.
  2. Best game of yesterday was Ukraine-Slovakia. Ukrainian keeper scored in injury time to level it up, but the ref disallowed it for whatever reason. Hate when it happens.
  3. Belter of a goal by Hojberg. 1-1 now. Mkhytarian is very very dangerous when playing for NT. Great end-to-end game this.
  4. This referee of Denmark-Armenia game is one of the worst I've seen in a while, May as well put on an Armenian jersey and be done with it.
  5. ^ Yea. 90th minute winner not enough to take Iran through. Shame it rarely gets packed anymore following death of 7 fans in the crowd during 2006 WC qualifier vs. Japan (120k that day)
  6. Euro qualifiers eh....had a look at the games for this upcoming match-day. Perhaps the pick of the bunch: Czech vs. Netherlands Iceland vs. Turkey Germany vs. Scotland Switzerland vs. England Austria vs. Sweden Norway vs. Italy Thought there are 2 rounds being played, but looks like only one.
  7. Surprised Defoe didn't make it back to the PL. TFC in turmoil again, sacked Nelsen and his staff, real chance of not finishing in play-off spots. But then again, he is on 90k/week, been injured for weeks...and always in downtown Toronto at Roof top parties, shagging quiet a few girls at once. He is having a decent time here for practically doing very little, the bastard.
  8. Discussion over. Sorry for the disturbance. All started from Falcao's wages. Anyways...moving on.
  9. Sandro to QPR done. That's too sensible of a signing for someone like QPR.
  10. Convinced the only reason Borini trolled everyone with his hilarious wage demands (QPR was still offering him twice as he is being paid at Pool) was his girlfriend. She is a Scouse model and probably doesn't want to move....Fabio looks to prefer getting laid every night than playing football.
  11. It's City and Chelsea, not City and Madrid that get the brunt of our criticism. We are spending this money that we have actually made due to our success and the selling power of our brand. There's a big difference in what we're doing and what they're doing. Money from success > money from oil. Maybe times are changing for us, but they won't for you. You'll still be living in the past spouting classics like "we've won it five times" and... no wait that's all you ever f***ing chant. It must burn you knowing that your club attracted Lallana and Lambert with CL football, while ours attracted Falcao and Di Maria without it. As for what will happen this season, lets leave that analysis until later on in the season shall we? Thankfully, it's been proven building the right team always prevails assembling a team with unbalanced expensive galacticos. That's why R.Madrid have won 1 league title in the past 6 years, and Fergie kept dominating the PL even after Chelsea/City emergence. I remember Alex Ferguson went and buy Michael Carrick from an upper table Spurs side in a summer as his only signing, and then won 4 of the next 6 titles. I am burning? You must be the one burning watching us play yesterday at a speed unknown to you, and realize how far away you are from being as much of a united and potent team. I'm glad you can add the "Most expensive signings on paper" trophy to your pre-season International Guinness trophy though. The stuff of "Not a single one of your team will make it to our team now" in RedCafe always bemuses me. It mocked RAWK for years, and now it's become a more hilarious version of it, itself.
  12. ^ Seeing you are paying his full wages, and it's something around 10M Euros net, consider English tax, and it rounds up to a figure like that. No need to sugar coat is Froggy, you've gone all Real Madrid/City (their immediately post-take over version) this summer. thank fuck because all those crap about "Our players make history, City players make money", "City's titles don't count because they are bought", "we give time to our managers" , "our ethos is develop talents from within and youth academy" etc and taking the high horse days are well and truly gone.
  13. It'd be fucking hilarious if they actually pay 65 million euros and make him the highest paid player in England for Falcao, and ignore a CB/CM area. Looks like the club is being run with bunch of muppets with no plan in place. Just looking to see which star names are available and throw money at them.
  14. Agger reportedly took a 90% wage cut to help Brondby sign him. This guy ! Fully expect him to retire in 3 years and open up a tattoo store in Copenhagen, and pursue it full time. Recall him saying he does it all the time there was no football to be played or was injured.
  15. 17 goals in Everton's first 3 games of the season :frantic:
  16. That's genuinely nice to see. Genuinely great guy, one of the few I got to meet and talk to in person. Hope Brondby win Danish league this year.

^ A drug can be anything though. Not all of them are serious. For example, do we reckon professional footballers smoke weed regularly? it remains in the blood for a while..and it was summer time...no biggie. Not every drug is cocaine.

Some of the more trusted Liverpool ITK (I know, it's an AIDS term) saying he didn't test his medical....rather failed his drug test. Be interesting to see how it goes if he has one for Chelsea. Hope he's chatting shite.
  19. Gonna go ahead and say Lille will finish last in that group. Group of AIDS for Legia, they should be able to top it, but Trabzonspor is tricky. Regarding travels, I reckon Napoli fans have got the best deal.....trips to Prague, Bratislava, and Bern. Can't better that one!
  20. Some potentially interesting groups in EL tomorrow. Hull had the chance to be grouped with 3 former European giants in Inter Milan, Monchengladbach and Partizan Belgrade, but threw it away to focus on a 3PM kick off vs. Burnley. Inter, Wolfsburg, Everton, Krasnodar looks like the toughest possible group. Would also love to see Copenhagen, Celtic, Legia, HJK
  21. Hull out Bet Pardew is texting Bruce congratulating him.
  22. IIRC Won Metz in Qualifying phase and in the gropu stages won Benfica and drew one game, lost the others. Yea, you are right. just checked it, Kaiserslautern/Benfica/PSV. remember watching a game vs. FCK , but thought it was in the knock outs.
  23. Yea, Scandinavian teams always get an extra spot in EL for FairPlay. but manage to lose to teams from Cyprus/Croatia/Bosnia almost shamelessly. Rory Smith was suggesting they should merge the leagues by region in lesser footballing countries, like having a Nordic League, a league for Holland/Belgium, an Eastern European league etc....because it's unfair on teams like BATE/Malmo etc to get to CL groups and then get humped. and it just creates monopoly for their respective leagues because of the massive CL money a team gets and others get fuck all. Not sure I agree with him.
  24. ^ Fuck, didn't know it was THAT long ago. They went out to Kaiserslautern in KO rounds I think. Kaiserslautern from Bundesliga 2 to CL quarter-finals in space of 1.5 years that year. One of my first memories of watching the CL
  25. Bah, 25 seconds too late Norway the only Nordic country who were out of Europe altogether by end of July. Good to see a lot of Nordic teams in EL/CL groups. Though Danish teams got utterly destroyed this round. FC Copenhagen set to be top seed in tomorrow's draw
