This is my concern too. I think the worst thing we can do is keep him, back him and then sack him before Christmas. If it was my call id have made the change already. it's going to turn ugly extremely quick next season.

I don't disagree but obviously the owners have made a choice and us willing a change isn't going to move the needle. Eddie is a legend despite what's happened and I hope lessons are learnt from all involved and he turns it around, this summer gives us an opportunity to clear out some of the rot and get some players in who want to be here.

Botmans new deal was about value protection more than anything else imo. If someone offered us money for him we would take it (maybe not this window as we have too much to do) Hindsight being 20/20 us sticking for those 18 months when we couldn't buy players because of PSR has really hurt us. We probably should have looked to trade more in hindsight.
