  1. Interesting bit here.
  2. For those that want some numbers. Last 5 years net spend Gordon money not included. https://www.football365.com/news/transfers-premier-league-five-year-net-spend-man-utd-man-city
  3. So you don't think it should be a level playing field? Yes or no will suffice.
  4. Historical significance was also bought during a time when it's allowed. And why are you telling me what I want when I've already wrote it? I want rules which allow everyone to compete on an even footing as should everyone. This is what competition is, same reason why heavyweights fight heavyweights and not fly weights. So the question is, are you against my suggestion?
  5. I think the news has been somewhat misreported/misinterpreted we essentially sold the club to ourselves. You mention the fans but the fans never owned the ground so I'm not sure who's being robbed here? I think I understand what your getting at but it doesn't really make sense in this context as it was just moving which cell the stadium sat in the clubs accounts so we wouldn't breach PSR.
  6. This is such a load of shit and you know it. Im yet to see a single poster on here say they want the tables titled in our favour? What we want is a ruleset which is fair and believe me it's really easy to draw up rules which are fair however no such hope of this coming to pass. Why don't we have rules where everyone can spend the same? Id be over the moon with that personally, is that me tilting the deck in our favour?
  7. Yup, as I've been saying PSR and the other silly financial rules means only one profile of player is attractive and thus every major club in Europe after looking at the same pool of young upcoming players or protect the downside. Only absolute despos want your Wissas as your taking on board so much risk from a financial POV.
  8. They sold the stadium to a company within the group structure. Ultimately when they bought the club they could do what they want with the assets which belong to the club, this applies to any company in any part of the world also. Id share your concern if the motive was asset striping but that isnt the case as proven by the sheer amount of capital investment. Don't get me wrong, I find out owners decision making perplexing at times but they have demonstrated a willingness to invest in the club which we didn't see for 15 years prior.
  9. Indeed all rules are made up, in particular the egregious ones we have in football at present. Your a Manchester United fan. Wasting money is a very familiar subject to you.
  10. Your missing the point my friend, the only reason this was done was to comply with made up rules. We don't have liquidity concerns our owners continue to pump money in by issuing shares the club carries very little debt.

    Nick Woltemade

This is correct but the plan was to integrate nick slowly and not throw him in. A lot of talk over the summer centered around us wanting to play two up top (I find that hard to believe personally).

    Harvey Barnes

Villa too slow I think, cant see us selling Gordon and Barnes in the same window.
  13. Cost is afforded based upon what one can afford. In the real world what I can afford extends to my personal limitations, this isnt the case for football. Outside investment by owners is basically prohibited, the reason this is an issue is because this wasn't the case previously. In order to grow revenue investment has to me made, if your not allowed to invest you can't grow revenue it's that simple.
  14. Thanks for sharing, will have a read!
  15. Another 200m plus summer coming for the countries underdogs.

    Harvey Barnes

Not extending is the play if we plan on selling this window. Probably not the easiest of Contracts to get done either given he's never seemingly been fully trusted and it will be his last big contract.

    Harvey Barnes

On balance id keep Barnes, selling both him and Gordon is risky, he does need competition though. His contract status is obviously another issue as well. I wonder if he has a plus 1 year in his contract or we have the same issue as we do with Tino.
  18. Yeah but the flip side is they offered absolutely nothing in an attacking sense to do so. They ended up coming out of the final looking like a bunch of losers. 1 shot on target, lowest amount of possession in a CL final. They played like they are massive underdogs, embarrassing stuff iyam.
  19. What does what Arsenal did have to do with us? Bare in mind we actually give PSG a game when we play them and don't just roll over like Arsenal did.
  20. Very hard to trouble a team Which have 11 players behind the ball at all times.
  21. Same as it has been for 4 years? Spend as much as physically possible, play shit football whine and complain Relentlessly whist pretending to be some sort of underdog.
  22. So let me get this straight, they hang on to slot and insist he's safe and let Alonso go to Chelsea only to sack him after?
  23. I think Sandro stays tbh,
  24. Why we selling Tonali when we've just sold Gordon?
