  1. We didn't have these issues prior to our scrape. Remember how quickly we got shit done. We weren't waiting days from an initial offer to closing a deal. I Don't think new execs will make much of a difference as PIF appear to have checked out and even if they haven't does our new CEO have that direct line to get stuff done? it's evident Eales doesn't.
  2. Guehis a professional. Our twerp isn't.
  3. I repeat, we shouldn't sell to Liverpool under any circumstance.
  4. The answer is 1. 1, Elanga. Although I assume we would have triggered Delaps clause if he didn't say no. Point being, to me it's evident we have certain fees we are willing to pay and certain wages and it's a pretty hard inflexible limit. During Mandys time it was really like this (right or wrong).
  5. He will half ass it like he did at the end of last season.
  6. Ian, how many offers have we made for players this summer that have been accepted?
  7. Stop making excuses for him, he refused our contract offer this isn't about money. If it was he'd be wanking himself silly on his way to Medina. He just checked out for whatever reason and it's fine, players come and players go but respect for the club, this historic club which is much bigger than him is mandatory. He wants to go it's fine just be respectful about it and don't piss in our face.
  8. To be honest Tommy, I Don't expect any involvment from him. He's the head of the worlds largest sovereign wealth fund I think one glimpse of his calendar would lead to us shitting ourselves truly. That being said, they hire an army of people to run things and the fact we've been left with a lame duck CEO for 10 months shows how much of a fuck they give about this "project" @McCormick might be able to give us an idea of how visible we are in Saudi but my guess would be it's somewhere between fuck all and zero.
  9. So, thinking about this logically our approach to transfers make sense from a business standpoint. As everyone on here acknowledged and kicked off about at the time, the brush we had with PSR left some scars. I think it's quite obvious we probably lacked financial controls leading up to that and I reckon as a result of that lack of control we've swung in the complete other direction - Values placed on players that we will absolutely stick to no matter what as the beans must add up. I'm sure most of us work in organisations where they swing widely from one extreme to the other and back again, I know I do.
  10. They aren't, If they were we'd have a CEO a sporting director and we'd have a new training ground and the stadium would be well on the way. They've checked out man.
  11. I Repeat, nobody wants to hold him back or stop his career. The reason he's a cunt is the way he's engineered this deal to make sure the price is as low for Liverpool as possible. players leave all the time but most of them act like professionals and handle the transfer with decorum and don't throw the toys out of the pram.
  12. No, the point being we can no longer count on him. I also couldn't give a fuck about him, He can train on his own for the rest of his contract for all I care.
  13. Anyways, we can't sell to Liverpool under any circumstances and this should be the bottom line. They've engineered this and we shouldn't be rewarding them unsettling our players in consecutive summers. Just rolling over for them would be a level of pathetic ness I thought we had seen the back of.
  14. If we keeping it 100, this kid is a bit of a visionary
  15. If we keep Isak, its against his will. He's gone.
  16. Actually, they can afford us but they dont need to rush, they can let us sweat. They are arrogant as fuck, they think they are in driving seat with the player only wanting them. This whole little stunt they've pulled between them (Liverpool and Isak) is blatant as fuck. Isak knows we Value him at atleast 150. Liverpool aren't willing to pay that much so they came up with this little play to drive the price down. I mean look at the timing of the wants to leave bullshit, left them with an absolute free run.
  17. Hardy I think, I heard other reports today can't remember which podcast sorry saying we offered him a 50k per week rise as well. Re sesko I think he's on a canny wedge at Leipzig.
  18. Toney would have to take a massive pay cut and pay a massive tax bill. Total none starter.
