Given he left Arsenal to play, im assuming he will be expecting to at the worst be fighting for the number 1 shirt. Obviously he's not as bad as the initial reaction but I'm not sure, it feels easy and unambitious. -

It's like we did an easy one to give us the confidence to do a hard one -

So the real reason we got vlad in the worst ffp swap on record is because we have a goal keeper fetish. -

Wissa meant to be the Wilson replacement, we need another on top of that should Isak go.
-
Yeah I agree, it really does feel like we can only do one deal at a time and Liverpool have lit a fire under us to get a replacement for Isak.
-
I think the player clearly wants to leave, this isn't about a contract or anything else. Liverpool approached him, he was like sure but we have one problem and that's the feeling and this is what theyve come up. No amount of stepping it up will change this.
-
We very much got away with it last year, I doubt we will this year.
-
To repeat, if we don't sign a top quality athletic centre half to replace Fabi (sorry fabi) the the window is an auto fail for me. It's simply to important.
-
Problem is we have little to no options right now. Whatever we do, we will be comprising as we just don't have the pull or bargaining power.
-
We are in a pickle honestly. Established players are either too old or expensive and by buying a Sesko profile we are taking a risk as they aren't the finished article.

Oldtype where are you located now? -
City and the cartel would probably benefit from this, it's not beyond the realms of possibility.
-
Yeah, but for us and our owners we should be saying no to Liverpool period. Refuse all offers from them. They engineered this and rewarding them would be as pathetic as we can be.
-
Even in the best case realistic scenario he will be gone within the next 12 months it's when and not if.
-
We do, his name is Isak. Pif will do us a favour by buying Nunez though
-
Plenty of the bomb squads of various cartels for the Evertons of this world to feast on.
-
I think it's deeper than that honestly, I don't even think it's much of a value for money issue as it is a budget issue. We simply don't have the revenue to pay these fees and wages required for the profile of player we want. We are in this no mans land of revenue whereby we are bigger than the midtable pack however much smaller than the cartel lot. As I know you and so others have been questioning our work on the commercial side had been underwhelming, and the club can spout about has increased x% but the floor, it was the lowest hanging or low fruit. TLDR our revenues hold us back massively, we are more of a statute to be cartel clubs dumping ground for the stiffs they have rather than competing with them.

Id imagine a combination of sporting director, CEO, finance director and maybe Solis. I imagine YAR will just sign off.
