    Won't be much more.
  2. He might end up staying ultimately our agreement is needed. What we know is he wants to leave and he will be leaving at some point. Will he play for us this season? Maybe but it's just a matter of time until he goes. Hes literally chosen the nuclear option here.
  3. It's obvious man, they literally waited for everyone to spend all of the money they have before making this move. No competition means the price is driven down. This wasn't spontaneous at all.
  4. 2 strands to this imo. 1, our manager has a preference for players with premier league experience and club has a preference for younger player. The total of these preferences = expensive and sought after by the cartel whom we really can't compete with. 2, it's much easier for clubs with zero ambition to take risk on these players than it is for us.

We are doing it by the book. This is what it looks like. Ask @Froggy
  6. So you reckon he decide to jump the shark on a whim with absolutely zero plan? It sounds implausible to me. I believe they he and Liverpool knew we either wouldn't sell this summer or the cost would be beyond them so in order to make of happen he'd have to agitate to get us to the table. I think this is where we currently are. Liverpool are quite relaxed because they know many mugs exist who will happily take the mid they have for Canny fees.
  7. This isn't true. We had massive loss in the first two years of the takeover.
  8. They dont have to balance the books for 2 years though. You think Isak has kicked off like this without an exit and planned out? The remaining job is to make us bend over.
  9. I don't think they do, I think for them what's the hurry? They believe he only wants them and thus we must take whatever scraps they throw. They are probably the most arrogant club in the country.
  10. Tino isn't a bellend and won't throw toys out of the pram. He will be staying, city appear to be unwilling to spend what it would take to get him.
  11. He obviously isn't worth 40m, and obviously Burnley were willing to drop the fee to something we found acceptable. Optics also come into play, imagine if we use our budget which affected budgets for areas we need more urgently.
  12. This is how we should handle it. And we should be very clear as to why. Media statements and the lot. We refuse to sell to Liverpool as we believe they have tapped up our player and conducted negotiations via twitter. Hang the cunts out to dry isak included.
  13. You really see how scummy the whole thing is when your on the receiving end like. I think the most infuriating thing about this is Liverpools approach, we might offer 120m if you fancy it if not nvm. But it's not really nvm we've been tapping up your player for awhile just waiting for you to fold. Another enraging aspect is how limp dick we've been as a club in response to this, zero communication just allowing Liverpool to run the narrative making us look like a lower division team.
  14. Yes they could, but we should be honest with ourselves he wants to go and it isn't only about money. If our owners were inclined (zero evidence they are btw) then we could just pay him after he retires via Saudi. Chelsea have demonstrated perfectly that these rules in the current form as easy to workaround it's choose we've chosen not to.
  15. West ham should sue the fuck out of the FA btw. This has cost them 10s of millions.
  16. Stadium was half full for the Milan game, the tickets are massively over priced and the local fans have turned the nose up. (Myself included)
  17. Close #wait. Next week it will be imminent.
  18. Yes but we save the amortization and salary. And uefa are pathetic we will get a fine who cares.
  19. No chance, they'd announce that.
  20. Forest definitely would, We've got a great relationship with them.
  21. For sure my point was purely about Isak replacements.
