Our current squad size is ok given no Europe. No issue with one in one out, however we can't be clinging on to disinterested, stale players who don't want to be here or those who's contracts are expiring and not going to be renewed.

Hard pass from me for Miley at right back. He's not quick and can't really beat a man. If we are selling Tino I don't see why we don't just buy a first choice right back to replace him.

I like Curtis Jones as a player but he doesn't solve any problems for us and obviously it would be more of the same Would be a proper nothing learnt transfer

You should look at squad cost and not net spend, if you want to look at net spend look over say 10 years which is more reflective of a full cycle.

Yup we overachieved and the Chelsea's, Manchester Uniteds and Spurs have all underachieved. Villa are overachieving at the minute too. Do you expect us to put perform our budget?

Would love to move this thread along a bit... What are people expecting from the summer/ next season? Any evolution in style? A return to a more intense press? Quiet or busy window? What type of players are we expecting to come and go?

Tino has to be peddled as he's not willing to sign a new deal.

I think they have to keep an eye on the gap between us and the European places. If the points gap ever looks insurmountable that's the point you call it a day imo. If it continues in its current guise it can't be allowed to linger until the end of next season imo.
