  1. Already got the next excuse lock and loaded respect.
  2. Oh yeah my original response was a bit of a spin on yours. A flippant reflection of things are moving at different speeds in the NUFC Orbit Wanted to make it sound less cheesy but cba.
  3. I don't think as a fan base we have. As a club we evidently have ( in most areas).
  4. Your right but this more speaks to the scale of the problems when have imo.
  5. Given he's been chasing him for years and we paid 55m for him it's difficult to argue against this.
  6. Aye it's one of those situations where by he's worth more to us than he probably is to Bayern.
  7. No, they aren't skint but he will be a rotation option for them.
  8. Seems unlikely Bayern will be willing to give us 75m pounds.
  9. Might give it a listen in the morning then. Some behind the scenes insight (if they have any) would be nice as something is clearly not right.
  10. Pod on the Tyne is nigh on unlistenable unfortunately. I did read Waugh's piece and it was a critical as I can recall from him
  11. You will hate it as most to them are pretty much locked in to Howe out.
  12. Just admit to listening to true faith I listened to it as well.
  13. To me it's mind-blowing that he's our best attacker (which he is). It really goes to sure how poor our recruitment has been particularly offensively.
  14. Writing was on the wall when he congratulated the rat.
  15. That part is true but I don't think it alters who we went for? I guess the arguement is it encourages better forward planning. But even then, we are really bad at forward planning, all of these bairns we've brought in don't seem to have much of a development plan
  16. This does fall down though, we essentially did this last summer and look how it's turned out. I think adjusting the recruitment with the current set up might be hard.
  17. If we sell at the right time it does, and obviously we have to be more pragmatic with what we are buying us having an average wage of 100k per week is uff. Buying a 4th choice midfielder being 40m is also a bit mad.
  18. Yes but selling players frees up money to buy more players. As does avoiding inflated markets.
  19. We don't have it in us boss. Asking for our lot to make a tackle at this point is an ask.
  20. I don't know if Eddie is too loyal or not honestly, but what I feel is his responsibility is the selection of the team, the tactics he chooses...
  21. I hear you on that. I think from where I sit, if we have players who aren't interested in playing for us then generally speaking that falls on the manager. You bring a new manager in those scenarios to either make them listen or ship them out. People like to bring Fergie up when longevity is mentioned but one of the factors behind his longevity was that absolute ruthlessness. If you didn't listen to him you were out.
  22. Yeah that was the next question I had also. Do we end up back here in 2 years? Is that even possible? I mean how are we replacing our spine? We had a crack at replacing players like Miggy who weren't integral and it's been a disaster. The rats replacement are as bad too.
  23. I keep asking myself how is Eddie going to fix it and im not really seeing it honestly. We look out of ideas, it really is his last days at Bournemouth stuff. Is the old style even possible anymore? I mean it requires buy in from every single player and even then, due to the nature of the play profile it it doesn't come off we will struggle. Idk just feels like it's a natural point to part ways. But then again give me a few hours and I might change my mind
