Yeah I know what your saying and I agree. As I said coming up with measures to increase fairness is easy, the issue is the league has absolutely no will to do so.
-
Not so simply sadly, the PFA actually have an agreement with the premier league and the FA preventing this. Believe me, the owners of the clubs would love nothing more than a cap on how much they have to pay. Solutions are very easy but ultimately want happen because the members lack the will to implement any.

Simon Jones was first on one of our transfers since the takeover I just can't remember which player it was
-
It should also be noted all of these ffp workarounds are inflating the transfer market as well. If we or anyone isn't doing these things we in a worst position than you would initially think due to the second order affects.
-
Yeah if I have to sacrifice one position or would be keeper. We have so many and Pope should be ok for another season. I'm also not sure about the develop a goal keeper concept, does any other club do that? Most just buy the best they can get.
-
Would be a mistake imo. Especially as we love a man for man press we can't continue with the total lack of mobility in defence.
-
So which mugs bite for those prices? Place your guesses Palace as Eze replacement is mine.
-
I think Elanga will be much better in our system that Elliot. That being said the prices floated for both are over the top.
-
To clarify in case of doubt, im linking Diomande going to Palace in reference to us potentially having to compromise and not fill all of our holes. For me, a 10/10 summer looks like this. Trafford/ keeper who has popes ability but can actually kick a ball. Top notch centre half to replace Fabi. Central midfielder who can actually compete to start games Top notch right winger to fight Murphy Striker who has the potential to replace Isak for when he's injured or.. Fullback who can cover both sides So when I say compromise I mean missing out on one of those areas.

Fingers crossed your right

Does anyone know the absolute detail of the rules? I ask because it seems obvious to me the whole sell 10% is to justify the actual transaction price. But does the person buying the 10% have to disclose who they are in terms of related party transaction? These rules are obviously poorly drafted and full of contradictions, it's not a surprise City absolutely destroyed the premier League in the RPT rules.
-
Why is what I said negative? My initial comment was about budget utilisation and how we might allocate our resources. Nothing negative about that. In Terms of Diomande, he would be a somewhat logical target no? Young, extremely highly rated and at that price the type of player who will appreciate it value. Again, to reiterate in speculating as you are.
-
I call things how I see them, positive or negative doesn't come in to for me. I've been saying for months no such PSR scramble would be occuring this summer in the league and what do you know...
-
I don't, as you said yourself we don't know anything hence me speculating if we will not fill ever hole and take some strategic risks. This is a discussion forum after all.
-
He has been linked with us in the media, of course it might mean nothing. Yes, nobody knows exactly what we can spend but I don't anticipate us spending 200m do you?
-
Because Guehi looks unlikely and Diomande who is believed to have a real high ceiling is good for a reasonable fee. I don't think we can do, top CB, top rw, rotation attack and Trafford with our budget personally.
-
47m GBP. Makes me think we are going to delay buying a cb.
-
We did at the end of the season I thought? It's just we offered Ruddy and Wilson extensions which are yet to be responded to.
-
Id be shocked if we were in for Elliot, I don't even recall his name being floated when we were considering selling them Gordon.
-
Won't be he warming the bench? Arsenal also lashing over 200m then this summer?
-
They only got 55m yikes very little value from a powerful card.

And to add on, buying players off the back of performances in international tournaments is generally a mistake. Let alone a youth competition
