Nkunku bench warming replacement.

Shamelessly stolen from the nufc Reddit.

No medical booked or fees agreed then?
-
Eddie wouldn't touch Garnacho

I agree we have to go for it, I just think no matter what we feasibly do we won't be challenging for the title. But let's park that, it's all good to disagree on such points. If we manage to bring in Say Elanga, João Pedro, Trafford and a top centre half consider me happy.
-
This is my guess as well, but it will require more intensity from Isak imo. But I can also see us dropping into a 451 when we go low block too.
-
Sarcasm doesn't translate does it?

No ornstein no talk Preferably ornstein doesn't talk much too as he glazes everything
-
You know it's desperate when we are updating thread title based upon information from paperback.
-
If JP can play from the left then letting Barnes go might make sense, although given the market for a player of Barnes profile might be soft.
-
Meanwhile I'm busy think about Howe pay the 150m for him Trafford and Elanga

I'm really on the fence about this one, too many unknowns to process and it's a lot of money for a role which doesn't currently exist for us. That being said Big Joe seems to have fitness issues and I really like the idea of playing with another talented attacker.
-
I'm curious how we adapt the system if we buy him. At the numbers quoted he has to be starting so I'll be curious to see what Eddie does. If this is all true that is

I think we are a good team without doubt, I just don't view us as title contenders and I doubt we can become that this window no matter what we do. I think if you have a look at the squads of actual title contenders it becomes clear as to why. I do believe we have a manager who is capable of winning the title however.

Another engagement baiting none update
-
I don't think we are so close to a title challenge personally. The ageing issue is particularly acute for us given most of our defence will be collecting pensions soon.
-
They have nothing without him.
-
No, the contract isn't signed so nothing is binding at that point. It's just a verbal agreement.
-
You'd give him a new contract?
-
Problem is 4-5 players of the required level is more than we can afford and does that keep our stars? Finishing 5th? I think not. We really have to watch out, those sharks in Madrid are snipers and have been engineering free transfers for top notch players for too long. We have to get used to some squad turnover. I'm really concerned we are asleep at the wheel when it comes to the macro side of things.

In a none psr world I keep pope, in the real world I'm sorry I don't need 10 goal keepers.
-
If the athletic lot are to be believed the plan is to keep him and Trafford and let them fight it out. Which means Trafford will be warming the bench for the first part of the season.
-
To be frank I expect a drop off next season regardless of weather we sign norgard or not Ultimately we are way behind in many aspects which will cause sustainable success to be nigh on impossible. On top of that we are chronically slow when any major decisions needs to be made. Isak will be leaving next summer regardless imo, as for Sandro let's see but ultimately we aren't going to be able to keep hold off players who are world class because we are not close to that statute at present and we have an awful lot of work to do if that is indeed our ambition.

No, your not. Personal terms were never an issue here and he's been waiting to sign for us. It's just your classic Romano update.
