  1. Precisely, the premier league have no power whatsoever to change ownership of a private business. The remedy would be to eject us from the league.
  2. Fortunately for us what happens there doesn’t matter at premier league level (it might do at Uefa level though).
  3. Well, the funny thing about the whole saga is the grounds people were pleading for them to block this on (PIF Being apart of the state) wasn’t against any rules. It was the piracy issue as everyone knows but unfortunately the PL thrust itself into the midst of a geopolitical issue directly against the interests of the British state. It’s probably a factor as to why the Govt want to regulate the premier league now (the UK Govt couldn’t care less about the super league).
  4. As others have said POT is garbage.
  5. He’s an interesting one, if we stick with our current set up do people see him as the 6? Or one of the eights?
  6. Given how much they mugged Liverpool for Nunez I don’t see it.
  7. Fair play, I mean I don’t feel as if the players they bought were for him, it was for the long term of the club. And his win rate is appalling so they’ve taken the gamble to get rid.
  8. Re potter are people shocked because they hired him or because they got rid so quickly?
  9. Then I would have kept him on but these days they have so many SUbs it doesn’t even matter.
  10. They were losing and thus wanted to go 3 at the back, lindelof is probably the best in the air and this he was brought on to contest aerially. Im guessing Varane played for France during three break?
  11. What’s to explain, they were chasing the game (I know it didn’t look that way)
  12. Haven’t seen any sort of attacking patterns from them, they just sit back and wait to counter at pace.
  13. Northern echo isn’t a great source imo, personally I’d be surprised given we just bought Gordon. Unless we are willing to move on ASM.
  14. That’s another thing I don’t get and I’m speaking generally here not aiming it at you but why do people get worked up about transfer fees?
  15. He’s under contract with them, they can ask what they want. If some mug is willing to give them 70m for a player with a year left more fool them.

We definitely need central midfielders but they also need to be better than what we have.

They will be looking to upgrade average players like him in the summer. on the quiet though, they don’t want to tank the value of a young British player of course.
  18. Bad news as well, according to the athletic the deal runs until 2027 and it’s unclear if a break clause exists.
  19. Still under Sodexo, wonder when that contract ends.
  20. To sign such players we have to fast, it’s one of the reasons we would benefit from a multi club structure all of these players could be purchased by a feeder club of clubs ours.
  21. PSG See FFP as a joke that it is. Qatar own UEFA.
  22. I wouldn’t worry about this too much. It’s basically to stop us taking the piss. Noon pay us more for the sleeve than fun88 do for the stadium and shirt
  23. I know it’s aids but I think it’s where multi club set ups shine. It’s very difficult to push for CL whilst trying to do this kind of talent development in house. You basically need an affiliate to do it for you and take the finished product. it will be interesting to see how we balance it moving forward, we are walking a tight rope.
  24. Absolutely, for English players you either get them young or overpay. half a good season in the premier league and a young English players asking price is 40m +
  25. Conte will always complain, the backing he gets is never enough.
