Still no updates from the historic breaches at Chelsea under Abramovich.
-
It won't don't worry.

Agree with this and this isn't to suggest he's a bad player or it was a mistake buying him as I don't think it's either of those things. We bought him as a hedge against Gordon not being good enough thankfully Gordon paid off. The issue we have with Harvey is he's an expensive player on good money who is only going to lose value, not a great profile when your ffp constrained.

One player less Bigger issue is him getting injured might still us letting Miggy go.
-
In an open market transaction the fair market value is decided by the selling price. This is how markets work.
-
Monchi is a wheeler dealer and Emery is fine with it so no issue at all.
-
At the time we purchased him we were struggling to find a more suitable target. renan Bruno's old team mate was the one we were linked to heavily at this point. Either way he did extremely well for us on loan and the cost was relatively cheap if it wasn't for the injuries we would have got our money back without many issues imo.
-
If he's been hooked at half time against a league two side it's a really bad look for him.
-
In these kind of games against low blocks you really want your wide forwards to excel one Vs one. This game is really showcasing the limitations of Barnes and Miggy in that regard.
-
We can't really sell him as we need to amortize the fee.
-
Too bad we can't cash in.

Kin hell, that is a mad comment and I can see why it's something which would lodge in someone's brain. I do have a habit of skimming past some of the more out there posters I must admit.
-
A lot of people were asking questions without a doubt, some of the stuff served up warranted questions imo. I don't recall anyone saying they wanting him gone though. Managers will always face questions when results or performances are lacking especially online.

Did anyone actively want Eddie replaced? I remember posts expressing concerns but not many if any calling for his head.

Well IF this were to happen the point would be clear. A return on investment for them. As a fan base we get no say we are customers and the most loyal customers in the world to boot.
-
As I've been saying, these decisions are how I will gauge how invested they are. If this is kicked into the long grass as the training ground appears to be will tell me all I need to know.

That was pretty much my conclusion after reading it. The internal doubts about PIF willingness to fund it are concerning mind.

Oh yeah they did exactly the right things tbh. They knew they couldn't compete under ffp without juicing everything so they juiced accordingly. To be fair to City they aren't the ones who have pulled the ladder up on us. They are so confident they have the best set up they are up for competition.
