First one that comes to Mind is selling the stadium to an offshore based entity (no corporate transparency in say the BVI)for an inflated amount who then renovate the stadium themselves. So from an FFP point of view we would actually benefit as the “sale” proceeds would be revenue.

Try not to think about the stadium expansion in simplistic terms, having an iconic stadium which is large well designed and have a great atmosphere will not only increase the value of the brand but also can allow for more opportunities for both corporate and advertising space.
