  1. Indeed but as far as the PL are the concerned it hasn’t materially changed anything. They will talk about the ongoing process being robust and the checks still pending completion. They will say the can’t approve it until the checks are complete.
  2. Nust is an organisation with a noble goal but with absolutely no power or means of achieving its objectives. As we all know, Football isn’t about fans or the community it’s purely about money and power. No disrespect or offence intended.
  3. I think your feeding yourself more false hope honesty. The premier league didn’t force them to pull out. Ultimately it was a decision made by the consortium.
  4. But they know the more they talk about it the longer it drags on the bigger it gets. I expect no official word from the PL regarding this, at most we will get them restating it’s a confidential proper process etc. More likely we receive some comments from a “unknown source” stating the answers received weren’t satisfactory etc They’ve also seen Staveley giving an interview affectively telling fans to go after the Premier League if they want the deal to go through. That can’t be good for their product. If she’s talking s***, their best course of action would be to call her out on it. The premier league have demonstrated over this last 17 weeks exactly how much disregard they have for the fans.

  6. I don’t expect a peep out of the PL. they just want it to go away and that’s exactly what’s happening. This is exactly the outcome they wanted.
  7. Exactly, if another buyer came in offering the same as what PIF et al did in pretty sure this forum would much prefer them. As always we are left holding the bag.
  8. Correct, one of the frustrating parts about this takeover is people assuming we want the Saudis. What we want is freedom from Ashley and owners who have the ability to invest in the club and the area and actually have a vision. It just so happens the Saudis are the first to meet this. In this whole debacle we are the last people to sell out.
  9. I wonder if the premier league were asking about MBS and his potentially role and the PIF were replying with answers stating this is a very small fraction of our portfolio which will be handled by Al Rumayan. PIF feel the questions is answered but the PL feel the answer isn’t satisfactory.
  10. Yeah, I could see that from your tweets. He's got very greedy if it's true (which I believe you and your source). I can see the Saudi's being very unhappy and not taking any s*** if they saw they were being played by MA Saudis will be fuming about the way they have been treated I’m sure of that.
  11. Are you mates with masters? This contradicts AS statement that no timescale was given?
  12. A few weeks ago = June 30th? The date Matt[/member] cited. Some good Guess work took place on here.
  13. No chance. They got the outcome they wanted, only losers are us the fans.
  14. Lol he loves fucking us over What a great tag team him and the PL have done
  15. Yup but given other wealth funds own clubs it makes little sense. The purpose of the test was to ensure clubs weren’t being ran out of business.the PL haven’t applied it in good faith imo
  16. Two clubs with the least resources of the big clubs kicking up a fuss. They shouldn’t even get a say.

  18. So according to winter the negatives were two factors That don’t even fall under the remit of the test
  19. Lol GM told us the director of the PIF met with the premier league in June.
  20. Yes can’t imagine Ashley jacking the price up if he didn’t have a sniff of something. We do know he’s complete disinterested in the club.
  21. Exactly this. If the PL did there job promptly this would've been done. Also shows Caulkin knew f*** all about 'exclusivity' or drop dead dates. This aligns well. If Ashley figures he could get more then this dragging on and him pocketing both the deposit and the chance to sell for a higher price pays perfectly into his hands.
