His best time for us was in a system where he played loads that worked perfectly for his strengths. He had a very specific role on the right of the midfield 3 closing the space and essentially being a grafter. He did have some moments of quality but they few and far between but he worked great as part of that team. I just can’t see him excelling outside of that at another club, he doesn’t have many standout technical qualities. You can’t put him into a game to change it, when he doesn’t play regularly he can’t come in and make an instant impact. Great lad and good servant for us but it won’t work for him in the PL imo
