anyone else going to the talk in tomorrow?

Im 32 and have held a season ticket since I was 5 even during my times living away in London and with my business that currently has me up in Aberdeen weekly Its hard to put into words how I feel currently about the club and going to the match as its strange. Rafa has rekindled something in a lot of us and the potential is undoubtedly there. If we fail again I don't know what I will do I love NUFC, love going to the match but I also feel it is becoming more and more about me loving the day out with my mates rather than the actual match. This season we are all finally sitting together along with a few newcomers and I cant wait for that experience. I love away games for the same reason, knowing I'm in a group of 2-3000 of us with my mates supporting the club I love but again its because the whole day out is class not just the game. I have a son now who is 1 and also have another hobby I am getting back into that I want to pursue and the football seems to get in the way but I just cant tear myself away from us.

i've started driving the aberdeen run for these very reasons, except it's more to get away from the unwashed drunks on that journey exactly why I have started doing it, although the train ride is lovely it stops at every arsing stop before the deen first class would be areet but it's pure extortion when I do get the train, coming back down on a Thursday night at 18:18 is only around 50 quid for first class and you don't have to change at Edinburgh its virgin east coast all the way on a Monday morning I have started buying first class to Edinburgh and then slumming it on scotrail the rest of the way how far in advance are you buying those first class tickets? and just from trainline? just bought the cheapest flight i can get from MME this morning as i'm only off 8 days this time, £126 one way :/ normally about a week for the return journey last time I went up by train I bought my tickets in the station on Monday morning I think standard to Edinburgh was £59 and first class was £64. then I bought my Edinburgh to Aberdeen tickets at Waverley for £40 or something. normally I just book it all through virgins website and that journey all as standard is a fixed price of £92 so for an extra £12 I got first class which includes free tea and coffee and breakfast etc

Given that we've lived through 30 years of skyrocketing prices to pay for footballers obscene wages, which were justified by the fact that they have short careers. I think we can all, quite justifiably, not give a s*** about them now. fucksakes man, Lineker earns more in one hour on a Saturday night than most earn in a year. Shearer probably does too. He made more than enough money during his career, that he never had to worry about anything for the rest of his, or his daughters lives. Are you for real? I would be f***ing annoyed if someone lost £9m of my money like muppet practically saying its ok that he has lost £9m because he had a good career and is rich
