I rarely get names on the back of my shirt, but for this one I got Hamann on the back of this one ahead of the cup final, within a month we had sold him, had to buy another shirt with a blank back, think I only wore that other one the one time at the final. The only other shirt I have had with a name on it is the White away shirt from our relegation season last year, it has Mitrovic on the back of it, it's a curse and I'm not going to do it again. the logo is high for a reason most pictures in newspapers and close ups on tv such as going down the line of players at the start of a game only show the chest upwards I know it sounds daft and looks a bit daft but its there for maximum exposure and isn't just plonked on the shirt

not a player but Mark Clattenberg in my regular in Seaham Harbour on Saturday night for the Joshua fight. Had a little chat with him and he was a sound bloke, basically hates the mackems and has only moved overseas for the money for his familys future. His group was next to ours and his missus was having a good old chinwag with mine too, no airs or graces or anything even though plenty of people were recognising him etc
