With hindsight it seems to me that fat ash always intended to bin Rafa. Signing Redfearn as u23 manager was simply a smokescreen as it was always intended that he would be the (caretaker) first team manager/ coach once Rafa was gone.
-
Here we go. Fat Ash seeking clarity from bzg. Next will come his declaration that they are time wasters and he won't waste any more money on lawyers dealing with the proposed sale.9
-
He's under contract for two more years so I doubt we will let him go this summer.
-
My mate down here in Leeds supports Farsley Celtic. Season ticket £82 for 21 games plus he gets a free pie and a pint each home game. Not a bad inducement to support a non league team.
-
I fear a fire sale once Rafa leaves. The only saving grace will be if no players are sold or indeed bought after Rafas contract ends it may be an indication that the FCB is indeed selling!
-
With it looking very likely that Rafa is almost certain to leave in 9 days time we need to make it absolutely clear to Mike Ashley that SJP will only have crowds of 25k tops next season so that he he has to subsidize players wages!
-
Option 1 without a shred of doubt!!!
-
His hands may be tied by a NDA. He will be due a bonus for keeping us in the EPL and breaking the NDA may mean he and his coaches would lose their bonuses. We all know this is par for the course with fat Ash!

I'm more concerned that fatso will cash in on Almiron, who is bound to attract attention with his displays in Copa America. Also, we all know that Man U are casting envious glances at Longstaff, so it should come as no surprise to see bids for both players landing on Charnley's desk the day after Rafa vacates his position as NUFC manager and fatso lining his pockets with £30m or £40m for both players and replacing them with loan players.

I don't recall other EPL clubs like Leicester having to go through all this crap when they were bought. Southampton have also been sold a few times, as have Villa. I think Watford have also been sold but not sure if while in the EPL. Everton sold a majority stake to a shareholder too. Palace were sold as well but again they may have been taken over while in the Championship.

Anyone think the ST price increase is to pay for all the upgrades Rafa has asked for?
-
Rafa is as good as gone. The only reason he hasn't gone yet is he is honouring his contract and there is probably a gagging order in his contract preventing him discussing renewal of contract talks.
-
Was Baggio. No it wasn't. It was Bergkamp. I remember it well cos I was gutted that he went on to become an Arsenal legend.
-
It's amazing how rumours suddenly become fact. Years ago before Denis Bergkamp joined Arsenal I rang a mate at work, but he was in a meeting so i asked woman who took the call to tell him I reckoned the toon were going to sign Bergkamp. Two days later there's a photo in the chronic showing nufc shirt in the back seat of a directors car with Bergkamps name on the shirt.

It might be that ash is on the verge of retiring and cashing in his assets hence selling his warehouse for around £120m. When added to £350m that makes a tidy lump sum for retirement.

If the takeaway is kosher would love to see us reject the Spurs bid for Perez and put in a transfer record bid for Kane lol
-
Rafas bound by his contract not to speak publicly that he is not/unable to renew his contract. It's got all the hallmarks of the FCB controlling what we hear from all sources.
-
It's more likely that all rafas demands have been refused and as he is still employed he has been sworn to silence while the club are searching for his successor. Hope I'm wrong but it's a very likely scenario.
-
More fool them then. Half full won't cut it for AS and the FCB.
-
ashley needs to understand that if Rafa walks he will be followed by 52000 fans. Love to see his face when the stadium is empty at the start of the season. What a complete waste of oxygen this twat is....!!
-
We need to put a massive release clause in his contract. Something north of £100m. That way if he goes we have enough funds to improve our squad.

Newcastle United 2-3 Liverpool - 04/05/19 - Post match reaction from p 27

It looked to me that Origi had his arm over lasvelles shoulder and round his neck preventing him from jumping. I thought it was a foul and the goal should have been disallowed. -

That was never a foul. If that means the Scousers win the title it's by cheating Ritchie never touched him. He just flung himself to the ground and the useless linesman gave a free kick that was never a few kick. How do these players feel they are worthy of titles when they know it's only been achieved by cheating more than the opposition. Mot withstanding that they have virtually bought any honours they do win..just like the liverppolll of the 70's and 80's. They bought the best Ayers in the old first division an d won everything as they had scooped up all the cream. Not a sporting achievement in my view. -
The club's going to do yo Benitez what they did to Sheared. They will just run his contract down and not make any announcement until they introduce the new manager/ yes man !!!
-
Time to remind Ashley that if Rafa goes we go!!!!
